Easygenerator has launched a free edition of their authoring tool.

The Free version of easygenerator has many of the functionalities that the ‘paid’ version has. The most important is that it has all the educational functionalities that sets easygenerator apart from the competition. For example, Learning objectives can be managed in an adaptive dashboard, placing them in the heart of the design and the eLearning course. The adaptive dashboard will also enable you to set the progress for the course per objective and create rules for study advices. Also, courses can be published in SCORM and HTML.

Easygenerator has many other interesting features. For example, the “What You See Is What You Get” interface it is easy to use. There are many advanced features like an automated version control with roll back options, reuse of content, mobile publications and more. You better check it out for yourself. Moreover, the free edition of easygenerator comes with an adaptive example course that you can use as a starting point.

Easygenerator is a Saas solution. All data is stored online on one of the secure easygenerator webservers, but you actually work in the windows application. This does mean that the software will not run on Linux or Mac’s. All published eLearning courses can run on any operating system and any LMS that supports SCORM 1.2. Easygenerator has set up 5 servers worldwide to facilitate this free edition.

The Free edition of easygenerator will be launched on October 31 at the DevLearn conference in Las Vegas. If you are interested to use the Free edition of easygenerator you can do it right away; there is a fully automated registration and activation process.
