Responsibilities

As an Instructional Designer and online learning developer, you will act as an internal consultant to clinical and operational departments utilizing eLearning software and training authoring tools to implement advanced online and blended learning solutions.

You will create engaging learning experiences and effective compliance training content and solutions that impact associate performance while supporting a culture of learning.

You will apply tested Instructional Design theories, practice and methods to design and develop innovative and impactful online programs and tutorials.

You will create supporting audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, exams, assessments, podcasts, job aids, reference materials, and other learning activities using knowledge of adult learning and authoring tools such as Articulate 60/Storyline, Ancile uPerform, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word), and standard audio and video editing software.

 

This person will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring evaluation data is used to drive continuous improvement of online learning programs, including undertaking sophisticated projects that require the skills normally found in multi-disciplinary teams, that will involve creative, technical, and content specialists.
  • Working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other Stakeholders to identify target audience’s training needs and ensuring the content is presented in a way that is accurate and appropriate to the learners.
  • Stating instructional end goals and creating content that matches them.
  • Visualizing instructional graphics, the User Interface and the finished product.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree
  • 3 years of experience
  • Provide work samples
  • Proficient in the Instructional Design process and Project Management
  • Ability to write effective, instructional text, along with audio and video scripts
  • Strong knowledge and application of development tools, that include Articulate
  • 360/Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign), and standard audio and video editing software
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Ancile uPerform is a plus
  • Able to write clear, concise documentation and narration
  • Resourceful and highly organized self-starter
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Capable of understanding technical and business concepts, and able to ask the right questions to fully understand true educational needs
