We are seeking a Learning Technologies Administrator to work out of our headquarters in Santa Barbara on a full-time 37.5-hour per week basis. Due to COVID-19, employment will be working from home until we can safely open our Santa Barbara office.

Summary

Under supervision of the Manager of Academic Technology the Learning Technologies Administrator (LTA) manages and supports Fielding’s academic technology systems including: the Moodle learning management systems (Moodle and Learning Pool); myFielding SharePoint portal; Zoom Web Conferencing; G Suite, Grammarly, and Turnitin. The LTA develops and delivers training to faculty, students, and staff on all of the above. The LTA provides assistance with in the design, development, implementation, delivery and management of academic technology-related trainings and support programs to ensure high quality learning experiences. The LTA provides frontline support for identified academic technology systems and is the support liaison between Fielding Graduate University and outsourced support organizations. The LTA works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to support academic technology systems in accordance to mission, visions, and values of Fielding Graduate University.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Minimum two years’ technical experience with responsibility in at least two of the following areas: Web server administration, learning management systems, web conferencing, and G Suite systems for Education. Experience with basic web development concepts such as HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, ASP.NET, SQL, or related technologies highly desirable.
