The ASCM Learning & Instructional Design team is looking for an individual with both project management and data analysis skills. The Senior Manager of Learning Operations and Projects (“ Senior Manager”) is charged with analyzing business needs and leading projects that provide a positive member experience that supports the growth of recruitment, retention and engagement. This role is responsible for developing and managing all aspects new product development, including planning, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues. Additionally, the Senior Manager will be the project lead and business analyst for the Salesforce platform with a specific focus on Supply Chain Learning Center to increase member engagement and retention.

Responsibilities
  • Create and establish efficient project workflows and developing strategies to improve inefficiencies.
  • Plan and organize project schedules, workflow, tasks, and deliverables for all department projects.
  • Ensure projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. Notify stakeholders of scope changes and time/budget impact.
  • Create and maintain project documentation and project close processes.
  • Communicate agreed upon project status metrics frequently with all stakeholders
  • Support the LMS administrator with the user upload and order fulfillment processes
  • Gather and analyze department data, as requested
  • Participate in quality assurance activities for products to confirm technical and content requirements have been met
  • Develop business cases, detailed project plans, business requirements, solution design and testing functions and translate into proper system requirement specifications
  • Report on project success criteria results, milestones, deliverables, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to meet the organizational strategic objectives
  • Identify project management process improvement opportunities, incorporating lessons learned into future projects
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related discipline 
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in project management and leading project teams
  • 2-4  years of professional experience in data analytics or a related function involving quantitative data analysis

Qualifications Desired

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification preferred
  • Experience with content development and/or eLearning teams preferred
  • Certified Professional Business Analyst (PBA) or related certification
  • Experience with project management of eLearning or online products

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to effectively manage all aspects of multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong aptitude for analyzing data to identify trends and drive team performance;
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, databases, spreadsheets, as well as research using the web;
  • Experience in problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional levels;
  • Ability to effectively establish work priorities as well as work collaboratively and independently;
  • Able to positively deal with and manage various personality types and leadership styles;
  • Strong team player, with an ability to exhibit flexibility and a willingness to pitch in where and when necessary;
  • Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written);
  • Experience with the advanced use of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, statistical analysis);
  • Knowledge of PMI, Agile (SCRUM), Waterfall, and/or Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies;
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Microsoft Power BI;
  • Strong attention to detail
