SweetRush Features Among The Top 20 Gamification Companies

San Francisco, Calif., August 7, 2019 — SweetRush, a global custom learning solutions provider, has been recognized by Training Industry on its annual Top 20 Gamification Companies list—comprised of the Learning and Development industry’s finest purveyors of gamification as a training tool. This is the sixth consecutive year that SweetRush has been included on the list.

Elegantly integrating world-class gamification into learning solutions for 15 years, building meaningful connections between clients and learners—and learners and content—is encoded in SweetRush’s DNA. To best build those connections, SweetRush uses design thinking as the starting point of many projects—whether creating a Virtual Reality (VR) simulation that fosters empathy among coworkers or creating a strategy-focused board game for hundreds of sales managers. This human-centered approach lets project teams gain deeper insights into learners and better collaborate with stakeholders, thereby arriving at the most suitable solution (whether gamification is necessary or not).

SweetRush deploys custom gamification at all levels by pushing off-the-shelf authoring tools to new limits, inventing its own tools (including a VR content distribution platform), and continually adding to its Adapt library to be more agile. Its dynamic visual design toolkit includes UI/UX, 3D environments, avatars, animation, gaming, and simulations—with thought-leading creative professionals behind them.

“This year’s Top 20 Gamification Companies continue to showcase the latest gaming designs and concepts to corporate training, making them engaging and entertaining for the learner, while focusing on moving the needle on their clients’ KPIs,” said Ken Taylor, President of Training Industry, Inc. “These companies are enhancing their products and services, including training simulations, serious games, and leaderboards. Learners can compete against each other or participate individually in an interactive experience that rewards learning and development.”

“SweetRush is moving forward with Virtual Reality and uses the Unity game engine for gamified empathy-building and safety training experiences,” said Danielle Draewell, Market Research Analyst at Training Industry, Inc. “SweetRush has also expanded its Adapt library with interactive and gamified components for rapid development and mobile-first delivery.”

“Playing to learn is not a new concept, but some of today’s tools are new. We can now better immerse learners into real-world situations that demand real-world resolutions, and we’ve seen business and performance results that are very compelling,” says Arturo Schwartzberg, Cofounder, and Chairman of SweetRush. “But it’s not enough to implement gamification for the sake of showing what can be done with it. It must enhance the solution and make a real impact on learner engagement to be successful.”

Schwartzberg continues: “Being recognized by Training Industry for the sixth consecutive year is a true honor, and we share this recognition with our client-partners, who’ve been receptive to utilizing gamification in new and exciting ways.”
