Martha Potter - Voice Artist

Background

Along with 12 years recording voice-overs for online learning modules, I’ve volunteered for 4 years with an organization serving the visually-impaired community. In this capacity, I regularly deliver live broadcasts of newspaper articles as well record novels, magazines and promotional commercials.  Weekly, I perform live, dramatic readings for enthusiastic audiences at two senior residence facilities.

Now, with additional training and solid coaching from an industry leader in voice-over training, I am ready to offer a wider variety of voice-over services to meet your needs.  Via my private, broadcast-quality, in-home recording studio, I provide fast turnaround with exceptional quality on time and on budget.

With a mature voice, elegant tone and a polished, sophisticated style, Martha has a delivery that is naturally warm and authentic.  Never a one-trick pony, her voice is versatile and can also deliver dramatic, upbeat, lighthearted voices.  A native North Carolinian, Martha has a mild southern accent.  She is a natural mimic and, with minimal work, can replicate the nuances of most any accent or dialect.
