What is aXcelerate LMS?

We started out as an RTO in 1989 – VM Learning – founded on our core values of H.E.A.R.T. With the aim to enrich communities, organisations and individuals through personal and professional development, VM Learning needed to develop an end-to-end solution to manage all aspects of the student lifecycle.

That’s when our Directors Reay and Jules used their passion for technology and high quality training to create and implement a cutting-edge, highly intuitive and agile digital student management system. Long story short, an RTO auditor loved the new system, and asked the question that truly kickstarted the aXcelerate journey: “Have you ever thought of commercialising it?”.

Running an RTO, Reay and Julie knew first-hand the challenges and issues facing training organisations. Their ability to get input from trainers and other VET leaders was key to developing a highly responsive product, specifically for the industry. And, with a few modifications, Reay and Julie had something special that could help other training organisations, and released the first commercial version of aXcelerate in 2008.

We’ve come a long way in 30 years! Our system has developed greatly, and our aXcelerate family has grown along with it, including our amazing 1000+ clients. We truly have the best cloud-based training management system, thanks to our hard-working team and our clients’ constructive feedback.
