As an Account Executive at InScribe, you will be part of a fast-paced team full of hard-working and ambitious professionals. You will be responsible for managing all stages of the sales process, starting with a focus on outreach to targeted accounts. Once you have confirmed interest, you’ll rally internal and external resources to ensure continuous deal alignment. Finally, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our executive team to close the deal and kick off the partnership implementation.
Day-to-day you will work with Katy Kappler, our CEO, and Danielle Bonner, our Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing Operations.

SOME OF YOUR AREAS OF FOCUS
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
- Become fluent in the InScribe technology offering, value proposition, and alignment of InScribe to the customers' needs.
- Continually maintain industry and solution knowledge, including changing market conditions and competitive landscape.
- Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Collaboration with Director Sales and Marketing Operations on email campaigns, follow up, and other marketing/selling strategies to drive new leads.
- Follow up on current leads, web leads, and historic inquiries to set up demos.
- Be a hunter by completing heavy prospecting through the web, LinkedIn, and leveraging InScribe’s references nationwide to drive new leads.
- Make a high volume of daily outbound sales calls speaking to higher education executives.
- Work within our CRM (Hubspot) to send volume-based email campaigns, 1 on 1 emails, track sales activity daily and maintain a pipeline.
- Track and hit weekly meeting/lead goals as set forth by leadership.
Ideal Fit
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years’ experience with complex Higher Education sales, such as enrollment lifecycle technology (such as SaaS, SIS, CRM, LMS sales).
- Documented and reference-able quota achievement of $1M+ including developing and fostering positive “buying” relationships.
- Established relationships with leaders of education organizations, consultants, and industry-related professionals in Higher Education.
- Experience identifying and closing opportunities with sales cycles 5-9 months+.
