Walla Walla Community College is seeking a Center for Integrated Learning Director to provide leadership and administration of a newly formed Center for Integrated Learning that supports the College's access and student success mission, as well as its promise to transform lives through education.
The Center is the convergence of the institution's eLearning Department and its commitment to professional development in educational technology and pedagogy.
The Director is responsible for providing leadership in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the Center for Integrated Learning – a center dedicated to professional development of faculty and staff.
The Director will also ensure the support of students engaging in the process of learning. The Director is responsible for supporting and supervising the eLearning Coordinator and Instructional Designer.
The Director works collaboratively with faculty and staff to create engaging and quality courses and programs that utilize appropriate andragogical approaches, innovative educational technologies, effective instructional design models, and functional practices in Universal Design.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology or Instructional Design, or closely related field.
Two years of experience in higher Education Leadership or in an eLearning Department.
Equivalent education/experience may be substituted at the discretion of the College. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
