You will be responsible for researching innovative learning delivery methods and using those methods to develop content and solutions for Instructor-Led, Blended Learning, and eLearning (including mobile) training programs for external customers. You will define learning outcomes, draft and refine learning content, and design learning experiences that align with adult learning theory. You will also be responsible for partnering with Subject Matter Experts in the training department to develop supplemental (post-program) teaching resources that support a given program.

You will report to the Sr. Program Development Manager as part of the Program and Product Development team and will collaborate with Product Managers, Multimedia Specialists, Graphic Designers, and other Subject Matter Experts.

Responsibilities
  • Manage project timeline for assigned projects within the product development timeline.

  • Design classroom and eLearning course materials based on research and content.

  • Implement common Instructional Design theories to analyze, design, and develop a variety of learning support approaches, materials, and frameworks.

  • Collaborate with Sr. Program Development Manager, Product Managers, and Subject Matter Experts to continually streamline, update, and augment current offerings to CPI customers.

  • Write scripts and supporting visuals based on approved content for activities or video production in concert with Multimedia Specialists and Graphic Designers.

  • Assist with walk-through to support implementation of newly developed curriculum/resources.

  • Stay current on emerging learning trends, including innovative best practices, technologies, capabilities and methodologies in the design and development of solution offerings.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related field (Arts, Science, Business Administration).
  • 3–5 years of Instructional Design experience and extensive knowledge of current andragogical approaches and learning science.
  • Ability to pivot quickly to new projects in a rapid development environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once; use project management or similar processes, familiarity with agile project management.
  • Proactive communicator with excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with various internal teams.
  • Knowledge of eLearning authoring tools and content management tools.
  • Commitment to technological advancement, knowledge/experience with development of results-oriented eLearning, computer-based instruction, and/or blended learning.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems.
  • Diverse portfolio of accomplishments using learning technologies including instructor-led, web-based delivery, and mobile device approaches.
  • Previous training or teaching experience highly desired.
