Just-In-Time Learning

With microlearning, many organizations and trainers have been able to improve learning engagement and their retention of the skills/knowledge imparted. But what is it that makes microlearning so effective at enabling organizations to effectively train and onboard new employees, which includes remote workers?

All of us learn from different sources ranging from structured or formal training to learning by watching others or taking specific help from colleagues. The 70:20:10 model for Learning and Development postulates that we learn 70% from on-the-job experiences, 20% from interactions with others, and only 10% from formal learning. But what do we do with this data?
