What do you like best?
Most of my videos aren't anything fancy. Usually I need to record my screen, explain something, cut out the awkward pauses and maybe zoom in where people actually need to look. That's why Camtasia works so well for me. I can record and edit everything in the same place without feeling like I need a video editing degree first 😅 For tutorials and course videos, it hits a really nice middle ground between "too basic" and "way too much."
What do you dislike?
It can get a little slow once a project gets bigger and has lots of clips. There are also editing tools I'd love to have more control over. But for the kind of training videos I make, I rarely feel like I'm actually missing something important.
I started using Camtasia for one tutorial and somehow kept using it for everything

What do you like best?
Funny enough, I only installed Camtasia because I needed to record one short tutorial. A few months later I was using it for almost every training video. I like that I don't have to think much. Record the screen, cut mistakes, add a few notes and it's done. For learning content that's honestly all I need most of the time.
What do you dislike?
When I tried making longer and more polished videos, I started noticing its limits. Rendering can be slow and advanced editing options are not as deep as in professional editors. But for tutorials and lessons, I rarely hit those problems.

What do you like best?
I like that everything is in one place. I can record my screen, add voice narration and make quick edits without switching between different tools. For tutorials and training videos it saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike?
It works great for learning content, but for more advanced video editing it can feel limited. Some larger projects also take a bit longer to render than I would like.

What do you like best?
I like that Camtasia is very straightforward. You can record your screen, add voice and quickly edit everything in one place. It’s easy to cut parts, add text or simple effects. For creating learning videos or tutorials it saves a lot of time and doesn’t require any special skills.
What do you dislike?
It’s not the best option for advanced video editing. If you need complex effects or professional level editing, it feels limited. But for most eLearning tasks it’s more than enough.
It's the best video editor software I’ve used in a while

What do you like best?
Whenever I have to deal with videos, Camtasia is my first choice and it hasn’t disappointed me so far. It is very versatile and easy.
What do you dislike?
The only thing I can say is that the interface can get a little crowded sometimes, so I prefer to work on a big screen instead of a laptop.

What do you like best?
Camtasia is a fantastic choice for people who are beginners in video editing. It’s easy to use and gives you many options to create your own videos.
What do you dislike?
The fact that this software might be too basic for people who are more experienced in video editing. If you’re looking for more elaborate abilities this might not be the right choice.

What do you like best?
I can easily record my screen when creating training material for my colleagues. Added to that, the editing process is so straightforward.
What do you dislike?
Lack of space on my desktop. It might be worth investing in external drives as the finished video captures occupy much space, but that's not an issue of the software per se.

What do you like best?
I have used Camtasia for many years and it works great with training videos. You might find it expensive if you want to use it to create videos without text, images and other illustrations.
What do you dislike?
Even though I have worked with such software in the past, it is often hard to figure out how to do things, probably because Camtasia is much simpler than what I'm used to.

What do you like best?
The videos I'm creating with Camtasia look very professional and the software makes it easy for me to edit them so that I can reuse them. It has really cut down the training content creation time.
What do you dislike?
The features are so many that at first you can’t do anything without watching some kind of tutorial. But after that it’s pretty easy to get the hang of it.
