Decent ATS with strong onboarding but some drawbacks
What do you like best?
ClearCompany’s platform offers a modern and visually appealing interface, giving it a sleek and professional look. Compared to some larger vendors it's priced more affordably, although still not the most budget-friendly option available. One of its strengths lies in its focus on compliance — they keep standardized forms updated, which helps reduce the burden of manual updates.
What do you dislike?
The onboarding system stands out as one of the platform’s stronger features but the ATS itself feels glitchy and unintuitive. The platform tends to “nickel and dime” users, with extra costs for additional user seats, data migration, and customization. Making changes to formats, questions, or workflows complex and not user-friendly. its mobile optimization is poor, at times frustrating for recruiters and candidates alike.

A user-friendly platform with excellent support and continuous improvements
What do you like best?
With its intuitive design and commitment to ongoing enhancements, Clear Company is an excellent solution for HR pros. Its integration with Paylocity has streamlined our processes and improved overall workflow. Their customer support team is exceptional and very responsive. It’s a solid choice for any HR professional looking to improve efficiency and enhance the user experience.
What do you dislike?
Although ClearCompany offers great functionality, there’s room for improvement in certain customization options. For example, some automated resources don’t print well, and the inability to modify their formatting can make documents less professional-looking. However, based on ClearCompany’s proactive updates, I’m confident they will address this concern in future releases.

The platform offers a range of robust features without requiring technical expertise, making it easy for anyone to get started. What truly stands out is their commitment to improving the product. They actively seek feedback and regularly implement enhancements to meet user needs.
What do you dislike?
There are a few areas where improvements would be welcome. For example, having additional search options — such as filtering applicants by phone number or email address — would improve functionality. However, this is more of a preference than a major issue. Overall, ClearCompany reliably delivers what it promises. Their responsive customer service team has been exceptional, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

The platform covers everything from applicant tracking and background checks to onboarding workflows and job postings — all with strong data security features. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to navigate. It's got seamless integration with other tools, simplifying task automation and data management. Its integrated reporting and analytics platform helps us make informed decisions. It’s cost-effectiveness it what made us select it over competitors.
What do you dislike?
While ClearCompany excels in many areas, its reporting and data visualization tools could use improvement. The templates are fairly basic, limiting the depth of analysis for those seeking more detailed insights. Setting up and managing a centralized database for company data also proved to be somewhat challenging, requiring extra effort to organize effectively.

What do you like best?
ClearCompany has proven to be an excellent solution for our hiring needs. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to post job openings, access candidate profiles, and run reports. It’s packed with useful features that simplify the recruitment process. Their customer service team is responsive and helpful, and their ongoing webinars provide valuable insights and updates to ensure users get the most out of the platform.
What do you dislike?
There’s honestly very little to criticize. While we explored other ATS options when reconsidering our platform choice, none of the alternatives offered additional value or better functionality based on our specific needs. ClearCompany continued to meet our requirements effectively. Its competitive pricing is what made us choose it. ClearCompany is a reliable and cost-effective choice for those looking for a strong return on investment.

User-friendly, customizable, and worth the investment
What do you like best?
Our experience has been very positive so far. The implementation process has been smooth. The ATS is highly customizable. One standout feature is the interview invitation tool, which integrates seamlessly with Outlook — instead of spending hours coordinating interviews over the phone, the system now handles it for me. I also love the Scorecard feature, which allows me to send scorecards to the hiring team alongside each application making it easier to narrow down top candidates.
What do you dislike?
Since we've only been using ClearCompany for a short time and have only fully implemented the ATS module, I haven’t encountered any major issues yet. If I had to point out one drawback, it would be the additional cost for adding more than three custom forms in the onboarding module. While this is a minor inconvenience, I've found ways to work around it without much trouble.

It’s flexible and easy to navigate, allowing us to tailor processes to suit our organization’s needs. The fillable PDF feature within the Onboarding module is particularly intuitive, making it easy to manage documents and streamline the onboarding experience. If you’re seeking a customizable, efficient solution for applicant tracking and onboarding, ClearCompany is a fantastic choice.
What do you dislike?
While ClearCompany excels in many areas, one area for improvement would be the layout of the candidate experience within the Onboarding module. Offering more customization in how the steps are presented to candidates would enhance the user experience further. However, this is a minor concern as the platform remains highly user-friendly and adaptable. I have to comment that their customer service is outstanding.

The platform's ability to adapt to our specific needs is incredible. The system itself is packed with robust features that cover nearly every requirement. One of the standout aspects is its chat support and online tools. For anyone seeking a flexible and feature-rich ATS, ClearCompany is a solid investment.
What do you dislike?
While ClearCompany offers comprehensive reporting tools, I’d love to see export options directly from individual screens without having to generate a full report. This isn’t a major issue, but given how user-friendly the rest of the platform is, a one-click export feature would add even more convenience.

ClearCompany stands out as one of the most intuitive and user-friendly applicant tracking systems I’ve used. The platform offers multiple ways to access and organize information, making it easy to find exactly what you need. One of the biggest strengths is their incredible customer support — from helpful online training videos to responsive chat support and a dedicated customer success manager who genuinely cares. Their team actively follows up to ensure you're getting the most from the platform
What do you dislike?
They always listen to our feedback. While I wouldn’t call these major drawbacks, there are a few areas that could improve. Occasionally, I've had to wait 30–60 minutes for a response on their online chat, which can feel slow in today’s fast-paced environment. Additionally, while their reporting feature recently received an overhaul, I’m still in the process of transitioning to the new platform — but I’m excited to explore the updated capabilities.
