What is Compozer?
Knowledge deserves design.
Digital learning is shaped by the tool used to build it. The same structures and treatments appear repeatedly, until the software starts to leave its mark on the course.
Compozer was built around a different premise: the content and the brand should lead.
That is what we mean by design-first course authoring. Not more decoration, and not interaction for the sake of interaction. It means choosing the structure, layout, media and interaction that best serve what needs to be communicated, inside a system that gives creators support to work confidently and enough range to make purposeful choices.
Compozer makes that practical. Creators have a broad range of ways to structure and present content, while brand controls help carry an organisation’s identity through the experience. You don’t need to start from code, and you don’t need to be a designer to make considered design decisions.
For organisations, that means learning can feel like it belongs to the company that created it, not the software it was built in. Courses publish to SCORM, xAPI and cmi5, or export to web or PDF, so Compozer fits naturally into the learning systems teams already use.
The goal is simple. When someone experiences the course, the authoring tool should not define it. The content and the brand should.
Compozer is built for instructional designers, L&D teams, course developers, agencies and subject-matter experts who care not only about what people learn, but how that knowledge is structured, presented and experienced.
Create with intent.

Overview of Compozer benefits
You shouldn't be able to tell what built it
A course should look like your organisation, not its authoring tool. Output in this category tends to carry the signature of the system it was built in. Compozer is built the other way round, to a standard that holds up next to a custom-built website.
A different shape for each idea
A broad range of layouts, media, interactions and assessment gives creators real choice in how the experience is shaped. The system provides the structure; the creator decides what each section needs to do. Every option is designed to the same standard, so the floor stays high whichever ones you choose.
Your brand, end to end
Branding should go further than placing a logo and colour palette onto a familiar course shell. In Compozer your visual identity carries through every block, from typography and colour to the way the course is structured and presented. The result feels like part of the organisation that created it, not something branded afterwards.
Publish to your LMS, or beyond it
Publish to SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, cmi5 or xAPI, or export as a standalone web package or PDF. Courses are responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile.
