What do you like best?
We use learning paths to organize training according to role and experience level. Employees have a much clearer idea of what they should take next instead of being presented with a large library and having to figure it out themselves.
What do you dislike?
Building everything initially took quite a bit of planning. Once the paths are established though, maintaining them is fairly straightforward.
Strong platform once everything is configured properly

What do you like best?
CYPHER gives our team a lot of control over how training is structured and delivered. After using it for a while, we've been able to automate much of the routine administration and spend more time improving the actual learning content.
What do you dislike?
New administrators need some time to become comfortable with the platform. Better visibility of some advanced settings would make that process easier.
Gamification has worked surprisingly well with our teams

What do you like best?
I wasn't convinced that our employees would care much about the gamification features, but some teams have really embraced them. It adds a bit of competition and gives people another reason to continue progressing through their training.
What do you dislike?
Not everyone is interested in badges or points, so I wouldn't rely on gamification alone to drive engagement.
Automation saves our training team a lot of time..

What do you like best?
We have been able to automate several repetitive parts of our training process, particularly enrollments and course completion workflows. Once everything is configured, there is much less manual work involved.
What do you dislike?
Creating more complicated automation rules takes some practice. I had to experiment with a few of them before getting exactly the behavior I wanted.
It provides a good balance of functionality and usability

What do you like best?
We've worked with LMS platforms that either lacked features or had so many that everyday tasks became unnecessarily complicated. CYPHER sits somewhere in the middle for us. It has the functionality our L&D team needs while remaining relatively simple for learners.
What do you dislike?
Some areas of the administration interface could be simplified. Certain tasks require more clicks than I would expect.
The AI tools genuinely speed up course creation!!!

What do you like best?
The AI functionality has become one of my favorite parts of CYPHER. I can start with a topic or learning objective and use AI to help create the course structure, content and assessments instead of building everything from scratch. It doesn't replace our L&D team, but it definitely helps us get from an idea to a usable course much faster.
What do you dislike?
AI-generated content still needs reviewing and occasionally feels a little generic. I usually treat the output as a strong first draft and then add our own examples and company-specific information.
Cypher makes it so much easier to personalize training

What do you like best?
One thing I appreciate about CYPHER is that not every learner has to receive exactly the same experience. We can organize content for different groups and make training more relevant depending on what someone actually needs.
What do you dislike?
With lots of groups, courses and rules, things can become complicated behind the scenes. Having a clear structure from the beginning definitely helps.
Cypher's reporting covers most of our everyday needs

What do you like best?
I can quickly see course progress, completions and learner activity without having to maintain separate spreadsheets. This has made monthly reporting to managers much easier than it used to be.
What do you dislike?
I'd like even more flexibility when creating highly customized reports. For standard reporting it works well, but occasionally I want to slice the data differently.
A flexible platform for different types of training

What do you like best?
We use the platform for onboarding, product knowledge and ongoing professional development. It's nice not having to use different tools for each program, and we can reuse content where it makes sense.
What do you dislike?
There was a learning curve during implementation because of the number of configuration options. We probably tried to customize too much at the beginning.
The use of AI has made course creation considerably faster

What do you like best?
The AI tools are useful when we need to get a new course off the ground quickly. Instead of starting from an empty page, we can generate an initial structure and then adapt the material to our own requirements and tone.
What do you dislike?
You still need to review everything carefully. I see AI as an assistant for our course creators rather than something that produces a finished course for us.
