What do you like best?
Some of the reasons that led us to switch to NextThought were the system's flexibility and capability. It has all the essential features we need to create the learning experiences we want. The system offers a great collaboration component. As a tool, it is very user-friendly and fosters teamwork and spontaneous conversation. Using NextThought has certainly increased information sharing throughout our organization. Also, we've noticed that it has given a confidence boost to our employees!
What do you dislike?
I wish they enhance the reporting features. They certainly could do better with that. So far, I have no complaints about their responsiveness when requesting more functionality. Their reps have been great.
NextThought is a very good tool and at a reasonable price.

What do you like best?
NextThought helped us shift quickly to a virtual event without breaking the budget. They allowed us to do that with the staff skill set we currently have. Since we're a small team, that was cost-effective. Regarding the learner experience, all I can say is it was seamless. The results of our post-conference survey prove it; we received high scoring. Also, the platform's scalability allows us to build one simple course (or even a multi-day virtual conference) with more than 80 sessions.
What do you dislike?
We'd like to see some improvements regarding the discussion feature on videos. Unfortunately, it is not a real-time chat. Meaning we lose engagement. If the team at NextThought can focus on that in future updates, it will help us track CEUs for individual sessions when using the platform as a multi-session conference module.
Our overall experience with NextThought is great! They have a phenomenal team!

What do you like best?
During our implementation, we changed three project managers. All of them were on top of things. Very resourceful and with deep expertise in the tool. The current project needed very specific integrations with our own software, so the programming team had to work a lot with our team. The best thing about NextThought is that it is simple to use. We had no issues during our online course creation. Also, I love that the system allows you to re-enter courses and edit them if you need to!
What do you dislike?
I couldn't really find any cons apart from the order in which our courses are displayed to our learners. We'd like to be able to choose that order. However, we've been told that the team at NextThought is working on developing this. So, we are looking forward to this software update in the future.
I love how easy it is to get content on this LMS! Great support team and good built-in analytics

What do you like best?
Their help guide has solved most of the questions I had. Whenever I needed extra assistance, I reached out to their team. They've always been fast and supportive. We appreciated their professionalism and being there for us. After all, launching our online learning during the pandemic was very challenging, to begin with. Their platform helped us pivot and continue connecting with our students during a hard time.
What do you dislike?
If I could ask for an improvement, that would be having a way to embed pictures directly to assignments. I trust that the NextThought team is working on it, and they'll probably have an update about it.
This tool is very straightforward and easy to use. You can integrate learning assets seamlessly.

What do you like best?
I chose Next Thought instead of another LMS because of its simplicity in functionality. For its price point, it's a simple LMS that gets the job done. It has proven to be a great system for our organization. And imagine it was the first time we ever used an LMS! I'm certain that Next Thought's scalability will be useful as we continue to grow our business. What I like most about Next Thought is that we can integrate learning assets from various sources. So far, the LMS has been terrific.
What do you dislike?
A basic feature I'm missing is allowing learners to keep a repository of documents they develop or work on associated with courses in the LMS. Maybe the team at Next Thought can work on this and give learners the ability to continually access and work on a project over the duration of a course — preferably on doc and slides. By doing so, learners could choose when to have a course facilitator review and provide feedback.
