Cool tool. I've been using it to administer questionnaires and tests to our students. Great overall!

What do you like best? Turning is user-friendly, but you'll need some practice in the beginning. I enjoy the reports feature... Exporting the data is easy. You surely get plenty of insights if you dig into it. What I like most is that Turning helps prevent cheating. Plus, it makes data collection much smoother. The same goes for the analysis.
What do you dislike? One of the biggest cons is related to UX. I'm talking about the process when you are ready to submit your answers... Unfortunately, it's not always consistent. For example, there are times that the device says that the question list is completed; sometimes, it does not. Of course, with some instruction, it is solved, but it can be very confusing for the user.

If you need to poll a large number of individuals, this is a great solution.

What do you like best? I've only tested it from a user's perspective. My overall experience was good. As a student, I found it was effortless to pair and answer questions during class. We never had any technological concerns during class; plenty of our professors use it with ease. My classmates and I found it very interesting since classes were more interactive this way. I've also gotten feedback for my answers... Instructors can determine what kind of information some individuals may be struggling with.
What do you dislike? No idea if there are any cons. What I know is that you can use a ResponseCard device for multiple courses. Universities can surely benefit from such a tool.

A very useful tool to engage a class. It's been helpful for our virtual training.

What do you like best? Their customer service is very responsive. Any time we need assistance, they are there for us. When having courses in person, we use the actual clicker devices, but during the pandemic and social distancing, we switched to virtual. During virtual training, the mobile function works great. Being mobile-enabled lets, people respond from all over the U.S.!
What do you dislike? What I don't like is paying an annual subscription fee based on our number of seats. You see, there are times we want to add more participants into our subscription only for these few times. Thus, I have considered moving to another software that has different pricing. Maybe they should consider charging to blocks of seats if they want to keep clients like us.

Amazing experience with Turning Point. We use it for our Honors program, and it's been great.

What do you like best? This software offers value and good customer service. My overall view is has been great! We used it a lot for our Fellows program voting, also benefited from virtual deliberations. During Covid, this tool enabled us to be more flexible. For example, we had the chance to use the platform across the globe with our committee members. Great technology with even more amazing people; I'd recommend Turning to anyone!
What do you dislike? I can't say there's something I didn't like about this tool, but it was a bit hard to figure out how to leverage it for our business initially. You see, we needed to align the rules related to our honors program. Because we had specific needs, we had to reach out to their support team. Lucky for us, they were incredible at helping us get what we needed.

It's an interesting tool if you're looking to gain audience participation.

What do you like best? If you're one of those who need audience participation in a lecture or a classroom setting, you'll find this product useful. In our university, it's very popular actually! I've used it in many classes where an instructor wants to give a quiz or conduct a survey. Some professors even use it to take attendance for the class.
What do you dislike? Turningpoint is a great idea overall. Good execution, however it does have some minor connectivity issues that need attendance. It has good functionality, but sometimes people have trouble connecting with the server when using their remotes. I haven't used it lately, but I hope they've found a solution through an online portal or something.
