Creating An Adaptive Course To Improve Student Success Webinar

More than 2,000 students enroll in Georgia State University’s Global Issues course each year, bringing diverse backgrounds and levels of preparedness. The complexity of course delivery drives further challenges, with 13 face-to-face or online sections led by 10 different instructors, including graduate assistants.

Lead faculty Dr. Chris Brown and Dr. Jeannie Grussendorf built the course in Realizeit to better tailor learning to each student and give them more control over their experience.  At the same time, instructors received in-depth, real-time feedback on student performance that enabled them to efficiently provide personalized guidance, despite large class sizes.
