Special Education Technology Needs Conference (SETN 2015) is designed for teachers and SENCOs from mainstream schools who want to learn how to use inclusive and assistive technologies in their classrooms.


The speed with which technology is becoming common-place in schools is staggering – every day more devices are appearing in the hands of our students and every day new ways are being presented for how to use them. But how does this impact students with disabilities or learning difficulties? How do we ensure that not only are they not left behind, but that we're making the most of these technologies to enhance their learning results?

Focusing on concepts of universal design and inclusion, latest technological advancements, use of mobile technologies, gaming tools and learning apps to maximise progress and growth of students with complex learning needs such as: Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder and other issues.
