Creative Compliance Webinar: Embedding Ethical Culture In AstraZeneca’s DNA
Creative compliance is the focus of a free webinar that’s taking place for L&D professionals on Thursday 7 March from midday to 1pm (GMT).
Embedding ethical culture in AstraZeneca’s DNA looks at the real-life story of how the global biopharmaceutical company partnered with custom digital learning provider, Sponge, to help embed its Code of Ethics firmly into the organisation’s genetic make-up.
Louise Vamvoukaki, Global Sustainability Education and Engagement Lead at AstraZeneca, will be discussing how the creative learning was designed and how it succeeded in engaging employees.
The online event is hosted by The Learning and Skills Group (LSG) and chaired by Don Taylor, renowned learning expert and Chairman of the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) since 2010. Also taking part is Brayley Pearce, Learning Solutions Specialist at Sponge.
Event attendees will hear how the creative compliance training has engaged over 60,000 AstraZeneca employees in more than 100 countries worldwide, so that they are living and breathing the company’s values and ethics. From a survey of 200 employees, 86% said their understanding of AstraZeneca’s values had increased or greatly increased and 90% felt very or extremely engaged with the learning.
Louise said: “I’m looking forward to discussing creative compliance with other L&D colleagues in the industry – it’s something I feel passionately about. And I’m hoping that the webinar will inspire wider discussion among L&D teams about how we can shift compliance so that our people want to do it.”
The webinar is designed for people in the L&D sector who are interested in adopting a fresh approach to compliance.
It will cover a range of questions, including:
- How to shift the focus from ‘must do’ learning to ‘want to do’ learning.
- How to create compliance learning that’s user-centric.
- How to apply the latest learning theories and design principles to achieve results.
- How to create learning that transcends boundaries and cultures.
- Why a campaign approach works well for creative compliance.
The LSG is an international community of L&D professionals interested in organisational learning and learning technology with more than 11,000 members.
The webinar is free to attend, but registration via the LSG website is required.
