Pride Month: Embracing Individuality And Diversity
eLearning Industry is announcing the celebration of love and companionship. By honoring the LGBTQ+ community, eLearning Industry is spreading the message of diversity and inclusion. The plan is to share content and initiatives relevant to the cause for the whole month of June. With hundreds of Pride parades being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, it is imperative that we share the spirit of unity throughout the world by any means possible.
Supporting Inclusion
Our incorporation has always been supportive of diversity and this can be easily pinpointed by the employees working at eLearning Industry. All people come from different backgrounds and we encourage them to show their true personality and self. As a matter of fact, many of the strategies and initiatives implemented in the business reflect the employees’ personal touch and taste. Great leaders know they can only benefit from diversity in the workplace. It's not something that should scare or intimidate them.
Appreciating Individuality
To begin with, eLearning Industry is a big family, indeed. We have shared this viewpoint a number of times. And what do all families do? They support each other’s choices, regardless of their own preferences. Love and affection is just an individual choice, not a characteristic that should divide and isolate people.
Diversity is a foundational value at eLearning Industry. We deeply commit to diversity and inclusion in all parts of the business. All of us wish to reflect that by honoring and celebrating Pride Month for those who belong to or support the LGBTQ+ community. We highly encourage individuals of the eLearning community to share their expertise in diversity and inclusion, along with ideas on how to achieve that in the workplace.
