Learning Pool Reviews 2026: Pros & Cons, Ratings & more

Is Learning Pool the right solution for you? Read verified Learning Pool reviews from people in industries like yours to make a confident choice.

Pros
  • Ease of Use & Navigation

Reviewers consistently highlighted how straightforward the platform is, noting that "the interface is intuitive for admins and learners." Multiple users pointed out that the clear, sensible layout allows new users to get to grips with it quickly without needing extensive instructions.

  • Customer Support & Service

The support team is highly regarded as "knowledgeable, patient, and eager to help." Users noted that customer service response rates are "usually quick to respond," making it easy to resolve technical issues or get guidance when stuck.

  • Customization & Flexibility

The software offers strong tailoring options, allowing organisations to "adjust the system to our needs thanks to customization, flexibility and all options like dashboards." Users enjoy branding the content so it feels like a native part of their business.

  • Feature Set & Functionality

Reviewers valued tools like the "bulk emailing facility" which allows communications to be sent to thousands of users in minutes. They also appreciated AI-driven skills tracking, automated path recommendations, and the ability to add diverse content types (videos, text, PDFs).

  • User Experience & Engagement

The platform succeeds in creating visually appealing, interactive learning environments. Reviewers called out its "gamification available within the system" and interactive ways for learners to engage, resulting in excellent industry user sentiment scores.

Cons
  • Reporting & Analytics Issues

Data extraction suffers from latency and disjointed workflows. Users mentioned that "reports take a moment to load when datasets are large," and that some tracking reports do not interact, forcing admins to open three separate reports just to see course compliance, non-compliance, and future bookings.

  • Customization Limitations

Admin limitations exist behind the scenes, such as a "lack of flexibility to change the main home page layout without additional cost." Others disliked rigid settings where a course rule applies to all users (e.g., making it mandatory for everyone) without an option to let interested people browse without demanding completion.

  • Performance or Reliability Issues

Reviewers cited communication sync bugs between systems, stating, "We have, from time to time, a lot of issues with the LMS and the LRS; they do not communicate correctly sometimes, and learner completions are not updated."

  • Complexity & Learning Curve

Deeper backend systems can feel unapproachable. Reviewers noted that "the back end at times is a little complex" and that the built-in "Adapt" tool used to create courses is "quite clunky and requires a lot of training beforehand." Additionally, learning materials inside their academy can be hard to search through, and help guides can be vague.

  • Limited Features / Missing Tools

Long-term users feel the system is showing its age, with reviews stating the "look and feel of the LMS is now pretty old" or "feels a touch dated in places." Growing companies noted that the basic LMS features no longer meet their evolving business requirements, prompting them to look into migrating to an LXP model instead.

What do you like best? What stands out about Learning Pool is their support team which is knowledgeable, patient, and eager to help. The platform’s interface is intuitive for admins and learners, and features like personalized learning paths and detailed analytics make delivering tailored learning experiences effortless.
What do you dislike? Occasionally reports take a moment to load when datasets are large, but it’s a minor delay that doesn’t affect usability.

What do you like best? Design, easy to use, different types of content can be added (videos, text, pdf...). Creating the reports I need, tailor them according to my nees. I cam also schedule them to myself a to third parties. Customer Service is usually quick to respond. I like very much the bulk emailing facility, comms can be sent to thousands of users in just 3 minutes... before I had to do it via email merge in Outlook and it would prevent me from doing other things at the same time.
What do you dislike? Unfortunately, we have from time to time a lot of issues with the LMS and thr LRS, they do not communicate correctly sometimes and learner completions are not updated. Two weeks ago we needed to keep our e-learning suite hidden from our LMS users whilst trying to get the technical issue fixed. But all the relevant teams at Learning Pool are now aware of it and it has been taken care of.

What do you like best? I like the reporting function so you can see which colleagues have completed training, plus I like how much you can customise the platform so it looks different to all other businesses.
What do you dislike? The use of Adapt to create courses is quite clunky and requires a lot of training beforehand, this isn’t easy to use for someone who is not used to design.

What do you like best? User friendly / somewhat easy to use and navigate. The best thing is the support that you can reach out when stuck and get guidance.
What do you dislike? The limitations behind the scenes - example customising the homepage and making it clean.

What do you like best? The usability of Learning Pool is exceptional, both admins and learners pick it up instantly. Integrations with HR tools, CRM systems, and APIs make life easier, and their user sentiment scores are among the best in the industry. I trust it to grow with us and deliver streamlined workflows every time.
What do you dislike? Occasional bugs, but nothing that would harm the overall user experience comes to my mind right now.

What do you like best? I absolutely like the layout of the platforms. And the user-friendliness. And the customized options.
What do you dislike? I don't know... Maybe it would be interesting to proactively reach out to users and see if they have specific wants and needs for their businesses.

What do you like best? I like the ease of use and overall simplicity of the platform. This means that we can focus on functionality rather than minor tweaks that do not improve user experience.
What do you dislike? There are some restrictions with the platform wherein settings are applied to all people for a course e.g. mandatory for all people. I would like a separate category to allow interest people to view without the system demanding completion.

What do you like best? I think that customer service response rate is very quick and it allows us to resolve issues very easily
What do you dislike? I think that learning pool academy could be improved by organising videos into more clear categories and I think that carousel view is not the most user friendly

What do you like best? The separate website and user interface that is well customised and feels like part of the business
What do you dislike? Support given by account managers is not to the expected standard. It feels like I need to ask the questions to explore rather than the art of the possible being shared.

What do you like best? The different ways in which a learner can interact with the system and the gamification available within the system. The amount of different admin roles is also beneficial to our business, along with being a child site (to our adult).
What do you dislike? The back end at times is a little complex, but it's early stages so hopefully this will change as I become more familiar with the system. Otherwise, no complaints.
