Softbook helped me turn my astrology hobby into a side income

What do you like best?
I work full-time, and I definitely didn't want my astrology hobby to become a second job I've been studying astrology for years and eventually decided to create a beginner's course. Softbook made it possible without having to build a website or deal with all the technical stuff myself. I mostly spend my time preparing lessons, while the platform takes care of payments, student access and course delivery. It's nice to earn something from a hobby without spending every evening managing it.
What do you dislike?
Getting everything organized for the first launch took a little longer than I expected. I had to figure out how I wanted to structure the lessons and set up the student experience. But once that was done, managing the course became much easier.
Softbook makes changing things mid-course way less stressful than it sounds

What do you like best?
I change my mind a lot when a course is already running 😅 A lesson needs another example, some text isn't clear enough, or students keep asking the same question and I realize I should just fix the content. With Softbook I don't feel like every small update is a whole project. I jump in, change what I need and move on. Sounds basic, but when you're doing this every week, it matters a lot. The platform feels like something I can actually work with, not something I have to work around.
What do you dislike?
I'd still like to see more depth in reporting and learner analytics. I can get the information I need for regular work, but sometimes I want to dig deeper without doing extra steps outside the platform.

What do you like best?
What sold me on Softbook wasn't actually building the course. It was what happened after launch. Students came in, lessons needed small updates, someone had a question, I wanted to check progress... you know, the usual stuff that piles up fast. And somehow it never turned into a mess. I can jump in, fix what I need, see what's going on and get out. No whole "admin session" required. That's probably my favorite thing about it. It doesn't make managing a course feel like a separate job.
What do you dislike?
There are still a few areas where I'd love more control, especially when it comes to reports and digging deeper into learner activity. For normal day-to-day use I'm good, but yeah, more detailed data would be nice.

What do you like best?
The funny part is I barely notice Softbook anymore, and I mean that in a good way. I log in, add or update a lesson, check how students are doing and move on with my day. No fighting with settings or googling how to do basic stuff. I also like that students don't need a whole explanation before they start. Most of them just get in and figure it out. Less "where do I click?" messages for me, which is honestly a win :)
What do you dislike?
I'd still like more detailed analytics. The current options are fine for everyday work, but sometimes I want to dig a bit deeper into student activity without doing extra work outside the platform. Not a huge issue, just the main thing I'd improve.

What do you like best?
Funny thing is, I never had that "wow" moment with Softbook. It was more like one day I realized I stopped fighting with the platform. Upload a lesson, check who's finished, answer a couple of questions and that's it. No weird menus, no digging through ten settings just to change something simple. It kind of gets out of your way, and I actually like that. I'd rather spend my time improving a lesson than figuring out where a button is.
What do you dislike?
I'd love to have a bit more flexibility with reports. Sometimes I want more details without exporting everything first. Not a deal breaker though, just something that would make a good platform even better.

What do you like best?
The biggest thing for me is that I spend less time dealing with the platform itself. Before, I had materials in different places and always had to explain where to find something. With Softbook everything is structured. Lessons, assignments and access are in one place and students usually figure things out on their own. I can focus on content instead of constantly answering technical questions. That alone made a big difference.
What do you dislike?
I would still like to see more detailed analytics and maybe a few more customization options. Nothing critical though. For everyday course management it already does what I need.

What do you like best?
What I liked most is that Softbook feels simple in daily use. Uploading lessons, managing student access and organizing modules doesn’t take much time. Students also understand the platform quickly, so there are fewer questions and less confusion during the course.
What do you dislike?
I would like to see deeper analytics and a few more customization options for course pages. But overall the platform works smoothly and covers the main needs well.

What do you like best?
Softbook works well for everyday course management. It’s easy to organize lessons, control access and keep everything structured. What I like is that once things are set up, you don’t need to constantly adjust or fix anything. Students can move through the course without confusion, and that saves time on support.
What do you dislike?
There are still some areas that could be improved, like more detailed analytics or additional customization options. But for regular use it already covers most needs.

What do you like best?
What I like about Softbook is that it doesn’t try to be overly complicated. You set up a course, upload content and everything works as expected. Students can access materials without issues, and I don’t have to constantly check if something is broken. It feels stable and consistent, which is honestly more important than having tons of extra features.
What do you dislike?
There are not many things that really bother me. Maybe more detailed analytics would be useful in the future, but for daily work it’s already enough.

What do you like best?
Softbook covers everything I need for running online courses. Course setup is fast, lessons are structured clearly, and student access works without issues. The platform feels stable and predictable, which is important when you work with real students and deadlines. I don’t waste time fixing technical problems. It simply works.
What do you dislike?
Honestly, there are only small things I would improve, like adding deeper analytics for advanced tracking. But for daily course management it already performs at a very high level.
