What do you like best?
The best experience was leaving Trakstar [Mindflash] and finding another LMS. Customer [dis]service was rude and gives fake email addresses instead of "support"
What do you dislike?
I cancelled my service years ago; but they kept my credit card information. I am still waiting for reimbursement from the company. Their "corporate runarounds" are classic. Simple problems were never resolved. Stay away from this firm
No problems using it for my presentations. Ease of use its best quality.

What do you like best?
Updating slides in my presentations is pretty quick. Being able to change it in the module instead of having to create a new module has made my life a lot easier. Most of the users in our company love the program. Obviously, there was some confusion at first, but it's pretty easy to use when you get to it.
What do you dislike?
It might be a bit expensive for someone who doesn’t need all the features. 350MB file size limit seems small to be. I also couldn’t find my way around gamification.
Very happy overall with Mindflash. Been using it for a while, all good

What do you like best?
Its ease of use is what I love the most. Before deciding on an LMS, we took a look at several different tools. Fortunately, we bumped into Mindflash. It's great to be able to easily create quizzes, load training, and maintain records. When I need to pull up training for a specific person, I can track down the scores quickly. Without an LMS, I had to spend hours searching through our old paper records.
What do you dislike?
Since we started working with Mindflash, my team had to talk to several different account managers. And that sometimes had us wondering who actually runs our account. At least for me, the mobile view isn't that good. When I need to reset a module, and I'm out of the office, I have to do it using my laptop. Instead, I'd like to be able to do it on my smartphone. The main reason for this is the fact that I can't scroll the individual modules.
If you are working on a highly regulated industry, Trakstar is a great choice!

What do you like best?
Trakstar Learn is like the easy button of learning platforms. It's simple to use, with lots of integrations and reporting capabilities to help us track and document compliance training.
What do you dislike?
Although no software is ever perfect, we have not come across any issues while working with Trakstar. If pushed, I would perhaps mention a learning curve during the initial setup and training phase.

What do you like best?
Ease of use and the use of entering training material in it. Quite handy to create new quizzes within their system. Customer service reps are very competent.
What do you dislike?
The user interface is quite outdated, perhaps things changed as I haven't used it at all in the past couple of years.
It's extremely easy to use and it comes with rich reporting

What do you like best?
Simplicity in operation, comprehensive reporting capabilities, and an effortlessly sustainable method for ongoing training.
What do you dislike?
It might be advantageous to allow administrators the capability to modify user passwords. Nothing else to add.
Trackstar Learn has helped us get the best out of our learners.

What do you like best?
Trackstar Learn offers an easy-to-use UI that enables both administrators and learners to easily navigate and reach their respective courses. From an admin POV, it's relatively easy to create new courses from scratch.
What do you dislike?
Uploading videos might take some time, they would need to work on that aspect as most of our training material is videos nowadays.

What do you like best?
It's simple and easy to use from both a learner as well as admin perspective. You can also customize it to your needs.
What do you dislike?
While Trakstar provides reporting, its analytics are not as advanced. This could possibly impact the depth of insights you can gather from your training data. I know it didn't in our case.
I really enjoy creating training with this LMS so far. Good reasonable integration with Salesforce

What do you like best?
Well, there are plenty of pros. When building filters for viewing content or users, there is a good set of options. Copying and modifying course profiles and content is solid and easy. The integration with Salesforce is reasonable. So, you're able to use invitations and basic reporting right in Salesforce. As an administrator, you can easily flip back and forth between the admin and trainee views. It's great that the platform supports courses, series, and catalogs.
What do you dislike?
Some of our users get confused when I explain to them how they can go to the home page to continue or resume. Maybe they don't understand what I'm talking about, or don't see it.
When I saw the Mindflash demo I knew that it wouldn’t be that difficult to create online training

What do you like best?
Ease of use is the reason I enjoy working on Mindflash. I wouldn't have it any other way. You'll see how easily you can create a class during the demo. At least that's what the guy who demoed it for us did. If it's a requirement for your business to have a tool for online training, Mindflash is a no-brainer. Quick and easy to implement.
What do you dislike?
Can’t say I had any issues. One thing though... I found having both a manage users page and a trainees page a bit confusing and redundant.
We have been using mindflash lms for quite some time now are we are pleased with our selection

What do you like best?
I like the fact that mindflash is accessible on the cloud on both computer and mobile devices. It also accepts all file types that we use - PDF, PPT, DOC, etc.
What do you dislike?
It is not very intuitive at first and takes quite some time to get used to it. Also, some functions are still very manual, including reporting.
Outdated software that does the basics well although requires much manual effort to administer.

What do you like best?
It is easy to get a course of any type (created within the system or uploading content packages) up and running. I would recommend this software in certain situations where simple delivery of courses via links is needed such as the back-end to an intranet.
What do you dislike?
I disliked the way the way courses are organized; the course catalog does not allow for advanced arrangement of learning plans. From a learner's viewpoint, the UX is quite antiquated and difficult to see value in it. The reporting functionality is equally disappointing.
Easy to use - Able to create powerpoint + upload it. Good for creating quizzes and sending them out.

What do you like best?
Ease of use comes right out of the "box" with Mindflash. We only started using this LMS a couple of years ago, but now we can't do without it. I love that it's so intuitive. I can easily add some YouTube videos, upload my PowerPoint slides, or even create tests for my learners. There are times I've added learners one by one for specific pieces of training, but I've also used the option of adding them in batches. It saves me time.
What do you dislike?
One con that I found was that I couldn't delete users. Sure, it's good to be able to deactivate them, but I'd also like to have the option to delete them. There's no point in keeping someone in our system more than needed. Plus, it has to do with the number of users as well. I'd really like to see a brief "How to use Mindflash" tutorial when a user first logs into Mindflash. It would be very useful for users that are not tech-savvy.
Very impressed! If you're into the B2B business, it's an excellent Sales and Marketing Tool.

What do you like best?
We've been using Mindflash for both internal and external training. It helps us keep everything aligned and focused. Its reporting capabilities are very good and easy to use. As a manager, I'm more than happy with it. What's more, we take advantage of Mindflash to sell and properly train our customers. We've already improved our support and gotten credit for it from existing clients. Using all of its features has given a boost to the of our recent new product launch!!
What do you dislike?
The Salesforce integration was a bit challenging. At least for me, because I was new to Mindflash. However, I had a few chats with the programmers and their responses helped make the integration work.
Great tool to train thousands of employees even if they are scattered across the country

What do you like best?
Our company relies on a national network of 1000 employees. These people work outside the office. Therefore, remote training is difficult and at times costly. Thus, we had to find a way to successfully train all of them at the same time. Mind you, they are spread across the entire U.S... So, Mindflash has given us the flexibility to train them all! Best of all? We avoided pulling everyone off the road during the day to attend our live webinars. Now they can watch the training at their own pace.
What do you dislike?
Mindflash offers tiered pricing plans. This was frustrating at times because we didn't know which one was best for us. There were times we needed to add more users, but we had no use for the extra features. Meaning, you might have the same issue with us and end up paying for additional features that you'll never use just to have the users you need.
You can't go wrong with an LMS like Trakstar Learn

What do you like best?
I love the ease of use and the ability to create courses from scratch. Unlike our previous LMS, you don't need to have an ID background nor do hundreds of clicks in order to launch a course.
What do you dislike?
We have been with Trakstar for several years now and never came across any serious issues. Some minor bugs come to mind, but these were resolved in no time by their support techs.
Clean interface and straightforward navigation for your courses!

What do you like best?
As a user of Trakstar Learn LMS, I've been impressed with how easy it is to dive into courses and training materials. The interface is really intuitive, which makes my learning experience a breeze. I like that it keeps things simple, but I've also noticed that there are a few features I wish were available for more personalized learning paths. All in all, Trakstar Learn has been great for me to access and engage with training content.
What do you dislike?
The interface is user-friendly, the course access is seamless, and I haven't encountered any hiccups. So, I'm coming up empty-handed in the cons department – which is a pretty good problem to have!

What do you like best?
We've been using Mindflash for quite some time now. There's a new version but we haven't updated yet so have that in mind as you're reading my review. However, I don't think many of the things I’ll talk about are going to change, so here it goes... Mindflash's interface makes it very easy to use. You can bring up a trainee dashboard in a snap. I've been enjoying the testing features. There are options like true/false, multiple-choice, multiple correct, and ordering of steps.
What do you dislike?
Although they have an app for tablets there's nothing for smartphones. I'd like to be able to provide a fully public link to a course, which I can't. There's no need for every trainee to set up an account to view the content. I'd like to avoid that. I had some issues synchronizing the public course feature with the Salesforce objects for such trainees.

What do you like best?
It is extremely easy to upload videos, PDF and PowerPoint files. You can also rearrange content, add quizzes, surveys, and course/series requirements.
What do you dislike?
Advanced Reporting requires improvements, as well as archived scoring, that need to be inducted to the system

What do you like best?
Hatful of integrations, exquisite UI, and customer-centric approach from support. LMS/LEP/LEXP vendors got a lot to learn from these fellas
What do you dislike?
When it comes to reporting, there are limited capabilities. I would have preferred more online classroom management break down options and would love to see that in a future release.
A solid but basic LMS solution. If you’re just starting out with online training its great.

What do you like best?
I'd say Mindflash is a solid performer even though it has its cons. I enjoyed the personalized dashboard you can quickly provide trainees with. You'll find it easy to use the content and user management interface. There are plenty of quiz options, more than I found in other platforms I've tested. You'll find all the basic LMS features and at a reasonable cost. Ever since we got it our content library keeps growing. Mindflash is a solid but basic LMS. Good for learners and administrators alike.
What do you dislike?
In my opinion, Mindflash is better for large enterprises because you can benefit from the higher level subscription plans they offer. Plus, it's the way to get all the features.
A simple LMS tool that can help you create online training and stay compliant

What do you like best?
We had to create an MLS (Multiple Listing Service) training for one of our clients. We also needed to offer it online as well. This tool helped us be compliant with that MLS requirement. Plus, there were some members that were out of the area. Before implementing the LMS they couldn't join because the required training was available only in person. However, because now we have some parts of that training online, we were able to have more members.
What do you dislike?
I can’t say I found any cons really. At least for the use I want it everything works fine. Nice and simple training for my team and external members.
