It's a solid HR & payroll tool, but has some technical quirks

What do you like best? On day-to-day operations, Workzoom simplifies HR and payroll tasks well. It’s reliable; managing employee records, running payroll, and handling basic people operations become smoother once you’ve settled in. For teams trying to consolidate workflows rather than juggling multiple systems, it offers a clear improvement in consistency and simplicity. It’s also backed by a vendor committed to ongoing development.
What do you dislike? It’s not perfect. Periodically, I’ve hit glitches (small errors or delays during busy cycles) that slow down tasks. Also, some features feel limited for advanced use cases, especially when custom workflows or deep integrations are needed. It’s good for standard operations but might struggle under more complex or high variance demands. If you rely heavily on edge features, expect occasional friction

Comprehensive Scalable HR Software But Mobile Version Needs Improvement

What do you like best? Workzoom gives me a dependable way to manage hours, payroll, and team updates without juggling multiple systems. The attendance details help me spot patterns and address issues early. I like how employee profiles store everything in one place, so I spend less time searching.
What do you dislike? Some pages feel cluttered, which makes navigation slower on busy days. I often have to pause to confirm I am in the right section before updating records. The search tool could be more forgiving with partial matches. I have also found that exporting reports sometimes takes longer than I expect.

Centralizes HR Operations And Reports But Initial Configuration Is Heavy

What do you like best? I like how Workzoom centralizes HR work that used to be spread across many spreadsheets. It helps me track employee information, manage hiring tasks, and follow pay cycles with fewer mistakes. The workflow tools help keep approvals moving and prevent delays.
What do you dislike? Some functions require more clicks than expected, which slows things down when I handle multiple requests. The layout sometimes hides tools behind menus that are not clearly labeled. The system also logs out faster than I prefer, which interrupts my work during long reviews.

Modern All In One Platform But Customization Is Limited For Enterprises

What do you like best? Workzoom has helped our team streamline payroll and reduce duplicate entries. The ability to monitor attendance and approve changes without switching systems saves a lot of time. I like the visibility it gives into each employee profile, from documents to schedules. It makes planning and follow-ups easier.
What do you dislike? Even with the strengths, some tools feel less intuitive than expected. I often need time to figure out how certain settings affect other parts of the system. The report builder would benefit from clearer steps because small errors can force me to start again.

Combines Multiple HR Processes But Advanced Features Require Extra Cost

What do you like best? I appreciate how Workzoom brings schedules, time entry, and payroll to the same dashboard. It reduces back-and-forth between tools and makes it simpler to catch errors early. Once I became familiar with where everything sits, updating records became quick. Reports give a clear view of hours and staffing needs, which helps me plan ahead. Being able to approve requests without leaving the system is another practical advantage.
What do you dislike? Early days were tougher because the layout felt less obvious, and I needed extra support to understand several functions. Some labels are not as clear as they could be, which leads to hesitations during busy workdays. The search feature sometimes misses items unless the exact phrase is used. My team also notices that updates feel slow when many people are logged in.

Efficient Daily Workforce Management But Stability Hiccups Create Stress

What do you like best? Workzoom helps me manage HR tasks in one place without needing several separate systems. I like how payroll, time tracking, and employee data connect smoothly, which cuts down on manual work. The layout keeps important information clear and organized, so finding records is faster.
What do you dislike? Even though the platform is helpful, the interface can feel crowded for new users. Some menus take a while to understand, and team members often ask for extra guidance. The mobile layout is also less polished than the desktop version, so I usually complete detailed tasks on my computer.

Workzoom => Reliable software, supportive setup and amazing team

What do you like best? From the very beginning, Workzoom supported us. During implementation, the team was responsive, helpful, and attentive to our specific needs. They worked to adapt workflows to our current processes so the transition wasn’t a blunt one-size-fits-all shift. We managed to transfer payroll smoothly, and staff felt looked after through the process. The system’s flexibility and the vendor’s willingness to listen helped us bring together recruiting, onboarding, and people management cohesively.
What do you dislike? Introducing a new system always brings challenges. Some modules felt like add-ons rather than core features; not all of the “extra” capabilities are included by default. Because of that, you might need to evaluate carefully which modules you’ll end up paying for. Also, while the support was solid, there's still a learning curve when aligning Workzoom to highly specific or unique organizational structures.

Strong support and a smooth implementation journey

What do you like best? The Workzoom team has been fantastic every step of the way. Anytime we had a question or needed a tweak, they responded quickly and helped find a solution. The implementation process felt very manageable, not overly rigid or pushy, and they adapted to our organization’s needs rather than forcing us into a template. Because they were flexible and hands-on, the transition wasn’t as stressful as it could have been.
What do you dislike? Moving onto a new system always comes with friction, and we experienced that too. Some processes took longer to configure than we expected, and there were moments when staff hesitated or needed extra time to orient. A little more guidance upfront would’ve helped clear those bumps faster. Also, while the platform is capable, a few modules could use more polish, especially for highly customized workflows. But overall, the strengths outweigh the growing pains

Workzoom comes with useful payroll features and minor ui improvements.

What do you like best? One of the things I like most about Workzoom is how customizable their payroll tools are. We were able to fine-tune pay rules for different teams, which many systems don’t allow. The support staff is also a real asset; they’re proactive, make time for us, and don’t hide behind canned responses. The system feels more like a partner than a vendor.
What do you dislike? On the flip side, we do run into occasional quirks. Sometimes using trackers or copying data gets glitchy, things like pasting in spreadsheets can behave unpredictably. Also, navigating between modules isn’t always seamless, so new users may stumble a bit until they get used to it. It’s not a dealbreaker, but worth noting as something to watch out for.

Employee history at a glance, but extra features are required to unlock.

What do you like best? One of the things I like about Workzoom is how it centralizes employee data. When you open a staff member’s profile, you can immediately view their full history; everything from onboarding to changes over time. That panoramic view saves a lot of back-and-forth searching in different systems. It’s convenient when you need context quickly. The organizational chart and time module also help anchor how people fit into the bigger picture.
What do you dislike? A noticeable drawback is that some useful modules aren’t part of the base package; they must be purchased separately. For organizations that assume all features are included, that can be frustrating. It can feel like you're paying extra just to unlock fuller functionality. Because of that, upfront planning is key to avoid surprises in cost or capability.

What do you like best? Those of you looking to formalize training and development can use Workzoom to create a culture of learning. The system enables you to simplify and streamline course management. Plus, you can plan and track all training activities. It was a good fit for us. Mostly because we can use it as an all-in-one HR solution. For example, users can manage benefits and make changes directly. Your HR department will thank you for it, as they'll be able to save a lot of time and manage processes more easily.
What do you dislike? As far as the employment information is concerned, there's a lot available. So, at times users might have a hard time finding exactly what they need. Other than that, it was very well received by our team. Most employees use it on a daily basis.

What do you like best? Workzoom is a modern HR platform. I love that I can use it to manage company payroll and benefits. But it's not only that, it's a great tool if you want to ensure compliance and performance. Also, it has several functions for recruitment. Having all employee information in one place makes things so much easier for HR. We finally got a tool that helps us respond quickly and solve issues with staff members instead of spending endless hours searching and filing cabinets.
What do you dislike? This tool is a powerful all-in-one system that has saved me precious time. So, no, there aren't any cons. Best of all, their team is awesome. Responsive support and always willing to resolve issues in a timely manner.

What do you like best? Workzoom is true value for money. We've been able to streamline and automate our processes in the very first months of using the tool. Quarterly performance reviews have never been easier! Being an integrated application makes things flow as all our staff are automatically part of the review cycle. With this system, I can get insights into how well our employees are doing. Plus, I can identify which areas need improvement. I love that I can push out training automatically.
What do you dislike? I can't say there's anything negative that sticks out. Surely we've noticed some hiccups, as it happens with every system. However, their support is always responsive and makes sure to help us out. I would recommend Workzoom, as we've already seen great results and success since its implementation.

What do you like best? A seamless solution for HR and training. I love both the product and working with their team to get the best results for my company. It's great that there are modules ready to address every area. The fact that they can integrate gives an extra safety zone as automatic data flow lessens the chances of human errors. If you have remote teams, you'll enjoy the "instant" polling and surveys feature. What I like most is that employee self-service is intuitive, not to mention easily accessible.
What do you dislike? There are still some modules that we haven't implemented, but for sure, until now, I haven't personally discovered anything I dislike. If you're working virtually, you'll love how easily you can manage everything with just a few clicks. For those of you who are all in for a paperless workplace, it's an amazing solution. A true "one-stop shop" for both employees and managers.
