Lessons From The Localization Farm
With a moo-moo here and an oink-oink there, how can a single message be understood in the same way by everyone on the global farm? eLearning translation and localization are native flowers to the eLearning meadow, and any farmer should know to plan them in their livestock nutrition. Likewise, any farmer should know all about how they impact their farm's growth. Not that we're saying we're all livestock and our bosses farmers. We hope you got the point.
In this demonar, we're showing why organizations should start thinking about eLearning localization from day one of their eLearning initiative. To us at eLearning agencies, this may be a no-brainer, but our experience shows that this is not the case with the wider public. We want to cultivate a deep understanding of eLearning localization with all the lessons we've collected from our eWyse Localization Farm.
We're milking the topic dry, studying the financial, translational, and learner's challenges. The point is: thinking about eLearning localization from the get-go is important for organizations to stay within the budget and ensure high-quality, effective training materials. Ultimately, we want to determine whether we're on a "farm" or a "ranch"!
In this demonar conducted by eWyse, we will dive into:
- The essence of eLearning localization
- Translation challenges and how to prepare your materials and teams to avoid setbacks later in the project
- How localization can contribute to your brand and brand culture
- Localization pricing methods and traps
- Choosing the best approach to localization based on all earlier points
In addition to all this:
- We'll definitely research the onomatopoeia of farm animals
- We would like to find out whether this is a "farm" or a "ranch" we're talking about
