When we evaluate an online course, we often talk about usability. Usability refers to the user’s experience of the course; can a learner accomplish what they set out to do in your course without any barriers? An online course environment should not pose a barrier to learning, however with widespread adoption of online learning, many online courses are simply not accessible for people with disabilities. The question remains: Why aren’t they?
