License Model/Pricing

If you are interested in SAP Litmos Training you can choose between one of the two subscription plans it offers. The first option is SAP Litmos Pro and the second SAP Litmos Pro+Courses. Both of them are billed annually.

Starting at $6 per user (for 150 to 500 active learners), per month, the SAP Litmos Pro subscription needs at least 150 active learners. Larger organizations get a better deal on this (for 501 to 1,000 active learners) since the cost is $4 per user, per month. In case your company needs more active learners the vendor offers customized quotes to prospects, you just have to contact SAP Litmos directly.

This subscription includes some nice features like a course builder with SCORM and AICC compliance and the creation of learning paths. A learner dashboard and reporting tools are also available.

In addition, you get unlimited storage, a mobile app, custom branding, and multiple-language support capability. Of course, SAP Litmos Training’s plan includes an Instructor-Led training module. Email and phone support are available to enterprise customers 24/7.

The plan SAP Litmos Pro+Courses is a combination of the Pro plan and SAP Litmos Training Content The variety of courses offered is vast and it can accommodate from 50 up to 1 million active learners. You can explore various topics in this content library, regarding professional skills development, customer service training, sales performance, and Project Management.

In this plan, prices start from $15 per user, per month (50 to 150 active learners).

As the company size increases, the lower the price gets. Resulting in $9 per user, per month (151 to 500 active learners), $6 per user, per month (501 to 1,000 active learners). Large organizations that need to train from 1,001 to 1 million active learners can get a custom quote again by contacting the vendor.

A 14-day free trial is available for each plan. If the above features are not enough for your L&D, SAP Litmos offers add-on services. For example, you can add an automation bundle. There is also the ability to track or even create training within the Salesforce CRM and migration services. Any company interested in these extra services can get a quote by directly contacting SAP Litmos.

Integrations

Offering integrations with other management software and content providers is an effective method to increase learning engagement. One of the best features you can find in SAP Litmos Training  are its integrations with Salesforce, leading HRIS solutions, WordPress, Articulate and Captivate, and others.

SAP Litmos Training makes creating and uploading course content simple and fun. You have plenty of options to choose from to create courses within the system or upload your own SCORM content.

SAP Litmos Training has a great array of features when it comes to building courses. You can use different module types. These can include assessment, videos, text, and integrations with GoToTraining and other delivery tools.

The integration of pre-recorded videos with SAP Litmos Training LMS is a nice touch. You can benefit from this for each module. You’ll find out that with video-based learning you are able to create a better learning experience, which you can obviously track. Getting away from the traditional routes was an interesting turn.

The fact that you get regular feature updates is reassuring. It is also good that you get notifications about those actions. SAP Litmos also offers new release webinars and videos on YouTube to help you out.

SAP Litmos Training Content  is a valuable solution for finding any training material you’re looking for. If you intend to sell courses that you might have built-in SAP Litmos, you get several solutions to fit your eCommerce needs. You could either use the Shopify App built by SAP Litmos or create your own eCommerce solution with the SAP Litmos API.

Feature Highlights

The SAP Litmos Training Learning Management System is ideal for your training and development department mainly because it manages to unify virtual training, social and mobile learning, in a secure and intuitive platform.

If you opt for SAP Litmos Training you get an innovative LMS platform that will help you accomplish your organization’s training goals, both internally and externally. As a fast-growing enterprise learning solution,  it’s able to deliver learning management in combination with prepackaged courses.

SAP Litmos is a true leader in the industry when it comes to innovation. Always evolving and offering updates, the platform’s top features for me would include, first of all, that it provides built-in reporting tools and dashboards. Secondly, it offers an API and more than 50 connectors, making it easy to integrate with other applications.

Last, but certainly not least, SAP Litmos Training Content has made a great impression on our L&D team. It is highly admirable that you can find out-of-the-box eLearning courses for all your business training needs. Not only is the content library full of engaging courses, but it also manages to stay relevant due to regular updates. What’s more, you can deliver this online content library to your users easily and effectively.

Pros/Cons Of SAP Litmos Training

SAP Litmos Training is a great cloud-based Learning Management Software. Its flexibility and UI simplicity will make things easy for your L&D team. What I liked most was having the ability to generate training reports quickly. Tracking your learners' progress is truly top-notch.

What I like about SAP Litmos is that they continue to add new features and products. For instance, they recently added services and programs which are great for video training. When designing a training course you can create hyperlinks to other sites as well. This is useful for companies that face different regulations for outside training.

You can use short videos to support your organization's training programs. The addition of instructor-led functionality is also exceptional. I also enjoyed the available courses in the SAP Litmos Training Content product. There is so much off-the-self training material that can support any company’s needs. The ability to upload documents and certifications adds great value.

Obviously, the pros make SAP Litmos Training an ideal learning management solution. My only concern is that some features are not included in the subscription plan, which means that you need to add them as extra. Though, if your L&D team knows what kind of features they need, they can decide later to extend the system’s functionality.

User Satisfaction

Our Learning and Development team enjoyed how easy it was to set up SAP Litmos Training LMS. The implementation, as well as the User Experience of this software, bring satisfaction, both from an administrator and a learner perspective. It helps a lot that it is structured with a role-based login. I loved the fact that its User Interface was responsive.

SAP Litmos Training LMS is a very user-friendly system that also comes with a lot of great features. It offers solutions if you need to automate complex processes and makes publishing content fun and easy. Custom reporting and API support make SAP Litmos Training even more powerful.

Such an LMS is a great solution if you want to avoid the high cost of travel for in-person training. In case you had an inability to onboard new employees quickly, SAP Litmos Training is what you need to get your training started in no time.

SAP Litmos Training is going to put an end to any challenges you might have with an existing (or previously used) learning platform that was hard to roll out and hard to use. As mentioned plenty of times in this LMS review, SAP Litmos Training’s ease of use and fast implementation will bring you a good ROI in less time than expected.

Plus, you no longer have to worry about the lack of content needed to quickly go-live.

Its out-of-the-box library of courses and fully mobile functionality will be of great value to your business.

SAP Litmos Training has a true focus on learning, and it is compatible with multiple, well-known third-party systems. I am looking forward to a multiple domain addition and  maybe some more customization options for reporting.

Customer Support

SAP Litmos offers customer support 24/7. I have to say that SAP Litmos' customer service is friendly and competent. During the trial period, we needed assistance on how to use the integration between SAP Litmos Training and Salesforce. They helped us through the whole process with no issues.

Their support team deals with matters professionally and keeps good communication standards. Even if something urgent comes up, they’ll make a suggestion and a work-around solution. Whatever the case, they’ll try to resolve the issue quickly.

Benefitting from SAP Litmos LMS

SAP Litmos Training is not just a Learning Management System. What most prospects haven’t realized is the fact that it can be combined with SAP Litmos Training Content for a powerful source of eLearning material. One of the most valuable offerings from SAP Litmos is its content library.

This off-the-shelf content library is going to solve your learner engagement issues. You can choose from thousands of video-based training courses to make your employee training or customer training programs more attention-grabbing.

This content library offers a pool of blended learning resources for any training needs. Plus, SAP Litmos Training Content is updated regularly with new courses that are added, free of charge.

SAP Litmos Training has its focus on the end-user. It is built to help companies achieve eLearning success. It manages to be highly secure while providing fast and effective eLearning solutions.

You can use SAP Litmos Training to design and create your training courses, but also optimize your Learning and Development process. The evaluation and reporting tools that SAP Litmos Training offers will help you improve employee performance and get a good ROI from your training efforts.

What do you like best? Nothing. The software was difficult to use, prone to errors, and it was impossible to obtain support when the frequently encountered problems occurred. The sales support was nonexistent. Terrible software. Terrible support. Terrible sales. Other than that...
What do you dislike? Cumbersome. No support services. Complicated opaque billing. Attempted to extort payment after termination of services.

What do you like best? Litmos is pretty easy to get up and running. Graphically is a nice-looking application, and the initial response from learners is generally good. The feature set is very good, and it is simple to configure. As with most things in life, beauty is in the details.
What do you dislike? Litmos is an application that is not fully developed. Some areas and features are elegant, while others are an underdeveloped afterthought. The app does not work with Okta. The transcript does not record consistently; a manager CANNOT assigns employees training, and it runs on AICC vs. xAPI. There are a limited number of connectors to third-party content, like some of the most prominent players. Permissions are very limited or wide open; several more levels must be higher than the current 5.

What do you like best? Litmos has a modern look and feel, lots of module options for training, multiple options for assigning training for groups of users, numerous available APIs.
What do you dislike? SAP completely changed how a user sees and finds their training a few months before our Go Live date. It’s now borderline impossible for our users to find their coming due training. The support response time for major issues is abysmal. It’s apparent that SAP & Litmos truly do not care about customers after implementation. Pick another LMS option, we 100% regret choosing Litmos.

What do you like best? The most important part is that the user interface and management interface are easy to navigate and understanding this is important. The platform is very flexible and can be tailored for a variety of needs. You can buy their content or create your own and add it to the platform. I don't see us leaving SAP Litmos any time soon.
What do you dislike? Words:49 english SAP Litmos Ideas is good, meets feature requirements, functional, I recommend adding video speed, adding cancel action to delete users, learning path in learning path, questions in exams with more options like other vendors and numbering quiz (which. is very easy).

What do you like best? The choices of what types of modules to create is very user friendly. The achievements tab provided an ease of use to see past training and download certificates.
What do you dislike? Ugh! I had to learn html code to install a banner. Also, every time there was an update it would change the administrator settings. The reports section is seriously not user friendly. I had to manually send emails to remind managers of employees who needed to take courses. While there was a course discussion link, it was inconvenient placed. A separate discussion module to promote social learning is preferable.

What do you like best? There is little to like, it does provide the basic functions of an LMS but everywhere else it's lacking
What do you dislike? Pretty much any function in the system is incomplete. The UI editing is a joke with widgets with unnecessary scroll bars and no meaningful way to create different experiences for different audiences easily. User organization is poorly done with teams being "deleted" and still staying. The system as a whole is simple incomplete but tries to do way too much.

What do you like best? The dashboard is easy to navigate for users most times. I was really happy with the look and feel of the dashboard for users, being able to customise images and the display of the dashboard is friendly on the eye.
What do you dislike? The technical problem solving is dreadful. I have waited months for potential solutions just to have to wait for a "release" then after the "release" the issue is not solved, a work around has been created that is sub par. One instance a learner could not log in as the system kept saying "reset password" which they couldn't do and the technical advice was "keep trying". It has come to the point where the poor technical solutions will likely result in my organisation looking elsewhere.

What do you like best? Ease of use. I was hired from other companies where we had Sumtotal and Cornerstone. We were a small company with no LMS, Litmos was easy to setup and use.
What do you dislike? Support is a joke. Since the SAP acquisition of Litmos, service has been horrible. It's very clear they don't care. It takes DAYS for someone to get back to you. If they do, you get a link to a support article. We tried Litmos Heroes (their content library) -waste of money for $6K and they won't let you cancel. When you try to make any changes it's like dealing with used car salesmen. A lot of great LMS options out there now that embarrass Litmos. We'll cancel soon.

What do you like best? Ability to implement state of the art e-learning modules in many different forms.
What do you dislike? True custom reporting is non-existent. For any organization handling over 1,000 students with accounts payable not being directed towards the individual student, but billed to other organizations responsible for those students, the reports that come out of Litmos will have your financial department disliking you. There is no way to easily associate Litmos Student Teams to organizations to billable learning paths.

What do you like best? The interface looks good, and it was easy to use, thankfully, because you do have to figure a lot out on your own, as customer service is not their top priority.
What do you dislike? We purchased an extended package based on the promises of our account person, but the system ended up not being able to do what we were told it could. No apologies. Communication was very poor, with weeks between answering our concerns. When we canceled our account, we received no money back. (Their terms and conditions are ambiguous.) We were given a "credit on our account" which is useless since we've moved to a better LMS. Everyone spoke "on-script" leaving you feel unheard.

What do you like best? We have been using Litmos for almost 5 years now and completely happy with our selection that is used to external training.
What do you dislike? Not much to mention here, if pushed I would only point out that it is quite pricey for smaller organizations.

What do you like best? The integration with the other software I used, the UI is very intuitive and it makes it very easy to use if you don't have complex rules to apply to your digital learning. Integration with Salesforce which for most companies is a big plus.
What do you dislike? Sometimes I find it a bit too simple in functionality and customisation, but overall it did serve the goal of my project.

9/10...Excellent. Learner path is under appreciated and under marketed

Overall Rating 96%

What do you like best? The Learner Path actually captures the IP of company/departmental processes. In the highly competitive nature of Sales, to not appreciate or build to that agenda would be a shame. My Jennifer Cox, Account Manager is a 9/10. Always personable, intelligent, thorough. She is prompt and is able to meet our needs. We're needy. Lastly, I trust her capabilities, and feel comfortable having her address Litmos questions for my Sr. Level peers. And, that is an uncommon thing
What do you dislike? Liked it all. A "nice-to-have" would be a better (higher level) integration of Voice over and avatar (3rd party).

What do you like best? Great interface and design. Fairly simple to get started as both an admin and a user. Easy to create courses and content. Full customization for appearance and branding. New features added regularly. Despite it's flaws, gets the job done and well.
What do you dislike? Customer support changed format and is less helpful. Quiz types are fairly limited to just multiple choice options. Reporting is good, but a bit short of what we thought it could do. Badge display is small so you can't see any details in the image. Was told badges and achievements would upload into social networks, but it just carries over a link to their website and no image information.

What do you like best? Litmos is small in customer intimacy as in they are very approachable and involved. On the other hand they are big in their vision; they keep adding features and opportunities. In that way they are really encouraging their customers to get the most out of online learning.
What do you dislike? Because there is so much going on and so many new releases, I cannot always keep up and feel like I am running behind. However, I guess that's my perspective and almost to be considered a luxury.

What do you like best? The tool is very intuitive and easy to use. The design has been refurbished recently and it is now even nicer and well organised. A lot of new features have been released recently which add that extra touch to the tool. The course settings options and reports are very complete!
What do you dislike? Maybe rethink how the whole language management is set up. Give the ability to the users to see courses in their preferred language. Also, adding "translations" to the courses would be good so that you could immediately see which courses are missing translations (particularly useful for administrators), instead of adding the same course in a different language as a complete separate course.
