1. Know Your Audience
For me and my Teachlr team, every organization or school is different. We believe in personalization and improving performance through education. That is why our first tip to all our customers is to know their learners. What do they need? When and where they learn better? What about their personalities and roles? Which team they belong to? What do they already know?
2. Set Your Goals
The second tip is to be clear with the learning objectives and to always create a learning program consonant to the business goals, values, and vision. What change or improvement we want to see in our learners and how does that change meet the common goals of the team or organization.
3. Analyze Possible Costs
The third tip would be to check your budget and analyze which are the possible costs and how, when and where could you have a return on investment in terms or better employees or students.
4. Compatibity Of Content
The fourth tip would be to be sure that you can develop the content that your LMS demands, such as videos, text, quizzes, games, presentations, podcasts, or any other material. If not, look for an LMS provider that could help you with those or at least teach your team how to do it.
5. Accessibility
The fifth tip would be to make sure you can provide internet connection, study permits (for employees), and devices for your learners to use. Be sure the LMS is responsive and intuitive.
No Learning Management System can be better than others by itself. Implementation, goals and characteristics of every team, school or business are key to make your eLearning system worth.
Look for customizable solutions and good customer and technical service from your provider. Responsive design and intuitive experience. Choose something you would appreciate as a student. A provider that shares your values and shows interest in your company or school beyond their service.
