DLConf 2015 will include many opportunities for networking, and sessions that will inspire and provoke conference delegates to think outside the box and employ 21st Century skills, such as critical thinking, teamwork and collaboration.
DLConf 2015 should be attended by educators, technology coordinators, curriculum developers and administrators from the K-12 and post-secondary sectors who are interested in exploring emerging and exciting ways to use technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience in both physical and virtual learning environments
Session types
Our conference is tailored for two types of session (45 and 90 minutes):
Presentations(45 minutes)
These forty-five minute time slots are designed for presenters who want to have delegates participate in some discussion following their presentation. Your presentation should be designed to engage and we encourage you to plan for roughly 75% presentation and 25% question/answer and dialogue.
Workshops(90 minutes)
These ninety-minute time slots are designed for presenters who wish to have delegates participate in a more involving experience. This might include hands-on workshops in the lab, and scenario based sessions where delegates can witness different solutions to problems. Your workshop should be designed to engage and we encourage you to plan for roughly 50% presentation and 50% question/answer and dialogue.
The 2015 Digital Learning Spring Conference (DLConf 2015) will be held April 19 - 21, 2015 at the Delta Burnaby Hotel & Conference Centre in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
