Responsibilities
  • Become familiar with the objectives and expected outcomes of aviation and defense-based training programs. Analyze the requirements of the training positions at hand, develop the qualifications standards for trainees, and ensure that the finalized training program equips every course graduate with competency in their role.
  • Determine the best delivery method for each training program.
  • Evaluate the target group’s learning characteristics, to take into account as you develop the course structure.
  • Demonstrate your knowledge of learning design as you develop a full range of effective instructional materials in accordance with current e-learning development guidelines.
  • Produce detailed course guidelines. Design guidance documents, scenarios, participant and instructor manuals, drawings, and more.
  • Carry out course analysis as you review course performance and success. Make recommendations for improvement wherever possible.
  • Engage in holistic thinking as you evaluate these instructional materials to determine whether they can be converted in whole or in part for other e-learning opportunities.
  • Work closely with a team of 10+ people in our open concept office in downtown Victoria.

Qualifications

Please note:

  • All candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
  • All candidates must be willing to undergo a security assessment for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
  • All candidates must hold a high school diploma.

The man at the helm (CEO Scott Dewis) is a visual effects wizard with a desire to improve e-learning and immersive training programs by ensuring their seamless and engaging delivery. RaceRocks3D enables successful learning and information dissemination in defense and aerospace, oil and gas, the health economy, and also with several private sector clients. Our overarching goal is to work closely with our clients from the outset to find technical solutions that will effectively embed critical knowledge through simulated training and experience. We are equipped to deliver high fidelity training simulation applications, 3D animations, 3D modeling, and gamified learning driven by client requirements.
