Innovation and Networking
For the ELI 2015 Annual Meeting , we’ve designed some innovative activities and networking opportunities to help you make the most of your meeting experience and to help you connect with others in the teaching and learning community.

Pre-meeting tweet-up!
As in past years, join us for a warm up for the Annual Meeting with our tweet-up session. This will be on January 21, 2015, from 1 to 2 pm ET. The key to it all is the hastag #eli2015. The tweet-up gives you the opportunity to direct questions to presenters and to find out more about what awaits you in Anaheim and online. There will also be prizes for those brave enough to tackle our trivia questions!

Ignite Session for the 2015 Content Anchors
This year, the ELI will announce the results of its annual survey of the teaching and learning community that identifies the key themes and opportunities (or content anchors, in ELI parlance) for the coming year. Join us for an Ignite session, where thought leaders from the community share their insights and their ideas about the 2015 content anchors.

Learnshops
In these hands-on sessions, come and explore a collaborative learning environment, visualization hubs, a Twitter-based massive, open, and online game, and an open-source mobile game and simulation platform.

Ted-style Sessions
To expand the range of topics covered at the Annual Meeting, we have expanded the number of TED-style sessions. As the name suggests, a TED-style session has a pair of concise, 15 minute presentations followed by 15 minute Q&A and discussion session. In 2015, nearly half of our our sessions will be in this TED-style format.

Learning Circles
Learning Circles are an Annual Meeting tradition, an opportunity to discuss key issues and wicked problems in teaching and learning. This year, our conversations will focus on themes associated with the content anchors for 2015, as these are the topic rated most important by members of the teaching and learning community.

Thematic Poster Session “Neighborhoods”
Again this year, all poster sessions will be grouped thematically, using the ELI content anchors to make sure you can visit all the poster sessions that interest you.  And don’t forget the digital poster gallery (available in January), our poster session in the cloud.

ELI 2015 annual meeting will be held at the Hilton Anaheim in California and Online, on February 09-11, 2015.
