Jamee Thompson has that sound and media producers lover her for it. That sound is different for different producers but Jamee has the voice-over talent and acting range to hone in on the sound producers need and deliver it… with either a bow or a sledgehammer.
As a respected and well-liked voice actress, female voice-over talent Jamee Thompson can just the right amount of spice or sweetness to a voice-over project (and sometimes both) depending on what the script calls for… working with a wide range of budgets and deadlines, for local, regional and national projects.
Jamee is equally adept working on commercials and narrations. Characters? She’s got a bucket of them and is glad to improvise with producers to create something brand new. And if she counted the number of times she has said “thank you for holding” when producing Message On-Hold recordings, she might be close to setting a new world record.
Among her many clients, Jamee has worked with the North Carolina Education Lottery, Peet’s Coffee, and Broyhill Furniture.
She continues to study voice acting, as all voice-over professionals do, working with such noted teachers as Nancy Wolfson of the Los Angeles-based Braintracks Audio. Jamee has also shared her talents with her fellow voice-over pros at respected voice-over industry events like FaffCon and FaffCamp. Jamee Thompson is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
