Clean Mobile Friendly Payroll Tool But Reporting Capabilities Are Too Basic

Oct 26, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience

What do you like best? With Everee’s mobile and web portals, you can easily manage payroll and payouts from anywhere. Workers can easily show pay stubs, direct-deposit info, and hours worked; no more hunting down paperwork when someone needs a copy for a bank loan or to file taxes. The employer can verify hours, run payroll, and handle bonuses or reimbursements quickly without wrestling with spreadsheets.
What do you dislike? Reporting capabilities could be strengthened, as reports often feel too basic and cannot be customized as effectively for deeper accounting or auditing requirements. Additionally, the employee classification tools are somewhat basic and may not be suitable for more complex payrolls. For businesses with complex payroll or compliance needs, these limitations are more apparent.

Fast And Reliable Payroll For Small Teams But Onboarding Setup Was Bumpy

Oct 5, 2024

What do you like best? What Everee meant for our small business was that payroll became a quick and reliable process, instead of a weekly calamity. Both the speed of payments, including same-day options, were made available, along with improved employee feedback and better cash flow management.
What do you dislike? Onboarding and initial setup were bumpier than anticipated; there were technical hiccups with linking the bank account, and classifying employees required some manual steps. The system is quite simplistic for companies with different pay systems or operating in more than one state, and challenging for those with complex benefits.

Great For Hourly And Contractor Payments But Support Is Sometimes Slow To React

What do you like best? Everee is a game-changer for hourly and contractor pay. It handles direct deposit, tax calculations, and compliance quietly behind the scenes, which significantly reduces the stress associated with payroll. Running payroll or payouts via a phone means we can make payments even away from our offices, a necessity for our remote-heavy team.
What do you dislike? At times, customer service has seemed slow or difficult to contact. On a couple of occasions, such as when bank information needed to be updated or an ACH payment didn’t go through, it took several days for the issue to be resolved. That kind of lag can be frustrating at a time when payroll tends to be quite time-sensitive.

Simplified Payroll And Pay When You Want But Lacks Top HR Tools And Integrations

Sep 15, 2024

What do you like best? Everee's payroll processing has been made super easy and fast. It was great since our employees could pick when they got paid without waiting two weeks. The interface is clean and straightforward, and non-technical staff were able to accomplish payroll after minimal training. Approving hours, payments, and reimbursements in a contractor/hourly-based payment system is simple on web or mobile (which reduces some of the heavy-lifting administratively).
What do you dislike? Since Everee is tailored to payroll foundations, the software lacks some top-of-the-line HR tools. For example, there are no out-of-the-box time-tracking or richer HRIS features, so if you need these, you’ll use another tool. Integrations with third-party systems, such as accounting or benefits management systems, are also often lacking or non-existent.

Flexible Payment Schedules And Clean UI But Lacks Advanced Integrations

May 25, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? In the end, Everee delivers on its ‘pay-when-you-need’ value proposition with more flexible payment schedules and effortless payroll execution. This flexibility is invaluable for small or mid-sized businesses without their own in-house payroll team. The user interface is clean and minimal; therefore, running payroll isn’t a steep learning curve.
What do you dislike? Integration support is limited, as there are few connections with third-party HR or accounting systems. If your business scales and you need a more fully integrated HR ecosystem, Everee might not support all of your future needs. Additionally, the absence of time-tracking and a few reporting gaps necessitate manual workflows at times to obtain detailed employee data.

A well-balanced solution that delivers strong value without unnecessary extras that drive up costs

What do you like best? Everee turned out to be exactly what our business needed. After reviewing several payroll systems, their pricing structure stood out immediately. It’s fair, transparent, and makes sense for companies with both employees and contractors. Unlike many competitors, Everee doesn’t overcharge smaller businesses or force one-size-fits-all pricing. The platform itself covers all the essentials and is easy to manage from setup to regular pay runs.
What do you dislike? While the system works smoothly, I wish there were more built-in communication tools for managers and staff to stay connected directly through the platform. There was also a small glitch during onboarding that took some time to fix, but the support team handled it once it was escalated. Aside from that, Everee has been a practical and dependable choice for our payroll needs

What do you like best? Everee makes handling payroll surprisingly simple. The platform is intuitive from the start, and the mobile app is a huge advantage for busy managers and employees. I can review, approve, or check payments while on the go without any confusion. The layout is clean, and everything is right where you expect it to be; no long learning curve or complicated setup. Whether processing payroll or just checking pay history, the whole experience feels effortless and reliable.
What do you dislike? Honestly, there isn’t much to complain about. I’ve rarely encountered issues with functionality or performance. If anything, it would be great to see more optional tools added over time for users who want deeper insights or analytics. But as it stands, Everee works smoothly and delivers exactly what’s needed

Poor communication and delayed payment experience.

What do you like best? Unfortunately, there’s very little to highlight as a positive in my experience with Everee. The platform might look simple at first, but customer service plays a huge role in payroll, and this is where things went wrong. I expected timely help when a payment issue came up, yet it felt like there was no real support available to get it resolved quickly.
What do you dislike? he main problem I faced was delayed payment due to what the system claimed was incorrect banking information, something I’ve used for years without issues elsewhere. Reaching support was only possible through email, and the responses were slow and repetitive. After weeks of back-and-forth, my funds were still pending. A payroll system should prioritize responsiveness, especially when users are waiting for payment. My overall impression was disappointing and frustrating.

What do you like best? Everee has been a real upgrade from our past payroll provider. We switched after dealing with ongoing issues that larger companies like ADP never seemed to prioritize. From day one, Everee’s onboarding process was quick and painless; I was up and running in minutes. What I appreciate most is how self-sufficient it makes my team. Employees can access pay details, update time cards, and view documents without needing my help, which saves hours every week.
What do you dislike? The only drawback I’ve noticed is with payroll history. Older records aren’t visible on the dashboard, so if I need something from the previous year, I have to reach out to the support team. Thankfully, they respond fast, but having everything stored in one place would make the system even better

It's a straightforward payroll option but it could use some further enhancements.

What do you like best? Everee makes daily payroll processing a lot simpler. Being able to pay employees every weekday gives our team flexibility that other platforms didn’t offer. The interface is intuitive, so handling payments, checking reports, and reviewing details doesn’t take much time. Our staff quickly adapted to the system without any extensive training, and the mobile access is a nice touch for approving pay runs on the move.
What do you dislike? While Everee does the basics well, it lacks some of the deeper options our previous provider had. We’re a fairly complex business, so features that help with auditing each period, breaking down categories, or customizing pay stubs for clarity would make a big difference. Our accountants would also benefit from more advanced reporting tools to make analysis easier. The platform is solid, but it could use more flexibility for companies with layered payroll structures
