Flexible Safety Modules That Adapt Perfectly To Specific Team Priorities

What do you like best? HSI gave us the flexibility to pick only the modules we needed, from environmental safety to emergency care, and shape the platform around our company’s priorities. The system scales well as we grow, and adding new courses or users doesn’t feel like a burden.
What do you dislike? Setting up the configuration for some modules required more time than expected. If you try to change workflows or update automation, a single change can ripple through many parts of the system. For teams without a dedicated admin, this can be daunting. A simpler wizards-based setup would help first-time implementers.

Comprehensive All-In-One Safety Platform Ideal For Growing Organizations

What do you like best? HSI works as a unified platform for EHS, compliance, safety training, and employee development. Having incident management, training, documentation, and audit-ready records in one system makes oversight and reporting much easier for leadership. For safety-critical industries like ours, that consolidation helped us replace multiple tools and reduce administrative overhead while keeping training consistent across all teams.
What do you dislike? The initial rollout took longer than we hoped. Administrators spent a few weeks configuring forms, workflows, and user permissions before it felt ready for daily use. Also, updating certain settings occasionally required re-training some users. A more streamlined onboarding or guided setup wizard could shorten this phase greatly.

Extensive Course Library Backed By Responsive And Helpful Customer Support

What do you like best? The breadth of HSI’s course library is impressive, covering everything from PPE fundamentals to first aid and regulatory compliance. Our employees across departments found it easy to access courses relevant to them.
What do you dislike? Some courses felt a bit long; a few employees mentioned modules that dragged on. At times, launching certain modules resulted in slower load times, which affected user experience. In rare cases, when users encountered issues, the support team wasn’t immediately reachable (no live chat), which delayed resolution. Better responsiveness for urgent queries would be useful.

Streamlined Training Platform That Makes Compliance Reporting Effortless

What do you like best? HSI’s learning tools let our staff complete mandatory safety courses on their own schedule. The interface is intuitive, and generating compliance reports for management is quick and easy. We especially appreciate the variety in the course catalog — everything from first aid to hazard communication is available. Tracking course completions and assigning refreshers is simple, which saves our HR team a lot of time and hassle.
What do you dislike? The mobile experience could use improvement. On smaller screens, some course modules load slowly or feel less smooth compared with a desktop. Occasionally, the organization of older completed transcripts makes it hard to find what someone completed several months ago. A search or filter by completion date could help when dealing with training audits.

Highly effective platform for workforce safety and compliance training

What do you like best? HSI provides a comprehensive solution for managing workplace safety, compliance, and training across various sectors. To streamline health and safety programs in one place, the platform is highly scalable, accommodating both smaller businesses and enterprise-level companies. Immediate reporting, generated alerts, and integrated education modules save time and reduce the administrative overhead costs of quality improvement.
What do you dislike? Setup can be somewhat complicated, especially when migrating years of historical training data. Moreover, while the platform is feature-rich, report dashboards require technical expertise or assistance from HSI’s team to be customized for your needs, which can slow down the implementation time.

What do you like best? It excels in providing health, safety, and compliance training integrated with powerful analytics. Dashboards from HSI serve as your eyes and ears into what training has been completed, what has not, and where compliance is lacking. Course assignment and tracking are easy, and the system accommodates a diverse range of training content, including interactive modules, video lessons, and assessments. The platform can resolve any problems very quickly, thanks to its responsive customer support.
What do you dislike? Some modules may have limited advanced customizations, which can restrict companies with specific training needs. Furthermore, other enterprise system integrations can take time, which can be a significant drawback for organizations where HR and LMS platforms are heavily intertwined.

Robust solution for managing health and safety training in large organizations

What do you like best? HSI offers some of the most reliable large-scale workforce training management platforms available. The scalability is suited for multi-location enterprises that seek to maintain consistency in training standards by department. The interface is user-friendly and clean, which helps employees complete courses without feeling fatigued.
What do you dislike? There is an overwhelming amount of features for newbies. The features are complex to understand, and admins require additional training to unlock the full potential of this platform. Additionally, mobile access is currently limited and needs to be enhanced to make it accessible for employees who require training while on the road, as well as for employees to work from anywhere and at any time.

Reliable Safety Training Platform With Excellent Transparency And Scoring

Apr 15, 2024

What do you like best? HSI’s reporting tools give clear visibility into which employees completed mandatory trainings and which didn’t. That transparency helps us stay audit-ready and plan refresher sessions proactively. Assigning courses and tracking progress is straightforward, which helps when multiple teams need different training.
What do you dislike? The user interface experienced occasional changes after version updates — while improvements are good, some older workflows (for example, comment history in incident reports) disappeared, which caused confusion. We had to adapt our internal documentation style to match the new setup. Consistency between versions would help teams that rely on historical records for compliance.

Comprehensive health and safety learning platform with scalable features

What do you like best? HSI is a single-platform solution for workforce safety, compliance, and quality. Through the system, administrators can passively oversee employee training while ensuring regulatory compliance is met and alert employees to any issues that may arise. Employees gain access to a simple, yet visible interface that allows them to calculate pending courses, receive automatic notifications, and more.
What do you dislike? The initial onboarding takes time, particularly for teams that have never used LMS software before. Some of the reporting and analytics functions can be challenging to set up, which may hinder your ability to use them effectively. The platform should also introduce improved mobile learning for employees working remotely or in the field.

Streamlined learning management system for corporate safety programs

Overall Rating 86%

  • Usability
  • Customer Experience

What do you like best? HSI excels at providing a centralized LMS through compliance, training, and quality management. There are many safety courses available that employees can access, with an option for managers to assign training. With the built-in tracking and analytics tools, it is easy to track progress and see where someone lacks knowledge on the learning platform. Alerts for compulsory courses keep you in compliance automatically, minimizing the chances of missing deadlines.
What do you dislike? Though HSI covers much of compliance, some higher-end reporting options are not as flexible as you might like. For organizations seeking to create customized training pathways or integrate with external human resource software, the system can sometimes feel inflexible, leading to increased organizational effort and time to ensure everything works together seamlessly.
