Every year, as I undertake this exercise, I try to use a distinctive thread to connect my list of eLearning trends and predictions.

eBook Approach

During the last year, we have seen a considerable shift in the way online training is being designed and delivered. It aligns better with what the learners want (short, focused, on-the-go, on-demand, available within their workflow, and so on).

It also marks a significant shift in the way L&D teams are looking at the training delivery to match what the learners want and the gain businesses want to see. There is a higher focus in looking at efficacy, impact, and ROI of the training. Several strategies show maturing, moving away from hype to showcasing real value.
