The Director of IT for the Office of Engagement and Extension is responsible for all strategic, management, and operational activities related to the IT and IP telephony systems and services that support division employees and a wide variety of local and virtual stakeholders who rely on programs and services offered by CSU Extended Campus (CSUEC), CSU Extension and the Colorado Water Center.

This position is responsible for supporting the strategic planning of initiatives and tasks that fall under the primary work areas of the OEE IT work group: enterprise architecture and infrastructure design, integration work, analytics, partnership management, IT resource development and end-user support.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business management or closely related field from an accredited college or university
• Seven years of IT leadership in an enterprise information technology environment comprised of multiple cross-functional teams
• Experience managing budgets in a large-scale IT operation
• Experience with IT strategic planning
• Experience with business continuity planning and disaster recovery
• Excellent written communication skills
• Experience managing and negotiating vendor contracts and agreements with service providers and regulatory agencies
• Experience developing technology strategies related to cloud services, virtualization, and network architecture
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Demonstrated success managing partner relationships
