gomo learning is to host a special webinar which will explore the transformation of Santander’s training strategy.

The leading retail and commercial bank have been using the award-winning gomo learning authoring tool to train over 22,000 of their UK staff since 2014.

gomo Managing Director Mike Alcock will be joined by Santander’s Euan Hay on 25th August 2016 (15.00 BST) to discuss the bank’s adoption of gomo learning to simplify the creation of multi-device content.

This exclusive webinar will explore how Santander overcame some of their most significant challenges to streamline their training strategy.

Last year Santander UK issued 8000 iPhones, 1000 iPads and over 1000 Windows tablets to further develop their mobile learning strategy.

Over the next few months, Santander UK will be implementing a new cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) which will enhance the learner experience.

With 24/7 access to rich, mobile compatible content, learners will have the choice of when and how they learn.

Explaining Santander’s challenges, Digital and Innovation Specialist Euan Hay said: “The variety of tools we were using (prior to gomo) were too in-depth, they required a lot of knowledge and skills. As we paid for licences for each of the tools in order to maintain our content, this also created a cost issue. gomo has provided a sustainable solution to these issues.”

Attendees to this webinar will find out how Santander adopted the gomo authoring tool to collaboratively design, publish and deliver multi-device content.

Mike Alcock, gomo Managing Director said: “I’m really excited to be welcoming Santander onto our banking and finance webinar. The banking sector faces a significant number of challenges with regards to the creation of an effective learning strategy. It has been a really rewarding experience to see Santander’s learning processes simplified with the gomo authoring tool.”
