The Game Agency Announces The Launch Of JEOPARDY!
Stamford, CT—June 3, 2020—The Game Agency (TGA) announces the launch of The Training Arcade®’s JEOPARDY! Online Group Play (OGP™), the ultimate engagement driver for virtual training and web conference calls.
Building on the only official, Sony licensed JEOPARDY!® training game, TGA optimized the new functionality for the express purpose of grabbing and keeping the attention of web conference participants. JEOPARDY!® OGP works seamlessly with all major video conferencing tools including Zoom, WebEx, Go-To-Meeting, Google Hangout, BlueJeans, and more.
Using the do-it-yourself game builder in The Training Arcade, game hosts can quickly create and launch games on any topic related to the web meeting and keep their web conference attendees actively participating and engaged throughout. The host even controls the pace of the game throughout the meeting as attendees play along on their computers, tablets, or phones in real-time.
"Our new Online Group Play makes web conference participation tools like raising-your-hand or responding to a poll look like tiddlywinks," exclaims Richard Lowenthal, Managing Partner of The Game Agency. "With JEOPARDY! OGP, hosts keep attendees on the edge of their seats, paying attention to every word because they know a JEOPARDY! clue or two will be asked every few minutes. They’ll want to be at the top of the JEOPARDY! leaderboard for bragging rights and, to increase the excitement, a host could even offer a gift certificate as a prize at the beginning of the call. Subscribers are even using JEOPARDY! OGP as their actual presentation medium by incorporating video, imagery, and audio directly into the clues and feedback. And, don’t forget about the real-time data analytics, which enables the host to see who answered what and thereby facilitate group course correction. JEOPARDY! Online Group Play is a fantastic way to keep teams mentally and emotionally dialed into web conference calls and virtual training."
"The JEOPARDY! brand is one of the most recognized and prized brands in entertainment," said Suzanne Prete, SVP, Global Licensing & Brand Management, Game Shows and Games, Sony Pictures Television. "The familiar format creates instant excitement and is corporate-culture-friendly. Now, in the wake of our new normal, the JEOPARDY! OGP serves as the perfect opportunity to redefine standard, online meetings by promoting a fun and engaging way for users to interact. We’re delighted to have licensed our treasured brand, JEOPARDY!, for training and education to The Game Agency."
The official JEOPARDY!® for Training game is created in partnership with Jeopardy Productions, Inc. Each game you create can include up to three rounds—Jeopardy!®, Double Jeopardy!®, and Final Jeopardy!®. The first two rounds consist of three to five categories each containing three to five text, image, or video clues. Responses can be formatted for text input or multiple choice. Players compete for Leaderboard dominance by racking up points in the first two rounds and going big in Final Jeopardy!®.
Sign up for an upcoming JEOPARDY!® Happy Hour (BYOB) to see it in action. Prizes will be awarded!
