Thought Industries Celebrates Rapid Growth After Increasing Their Customer Base By 95%

BOSTON, MA, February 13, 2018 – Thought Industries, one of the fastest growing online learning Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies, is proud to celebrate 2017 as a banner year of growth and momentum for both the business and their Learning Business Platform™.

In 2017, Thought Industries grew its customer base by 95%, adding new companies in professional training, consulting, software, and for-profit learning business categories. Some of the world’s largest training companies have chosen Thought Industries' award-winning Learning Business Platform to help them build new learning programs, advance their learning delivery experiences, and scale high-margin learning businesses.

The platform enables businesses to create customized, white-labeled learning environments, author and create powerful learning experiences, report and integrate with third-party technologies, as well as monetize courseware through integrated commerce and licensing capabilities—all from a consolidated cloud-based solution.

2017 was a phenomenal year of growth for us. I couldn’t be more proud of what we were able to accomplish”, says Barry Kelly, CEO of Thought Industries. “We work hard to bring a needed and exciting product to market. Seeing that vision come to life—and also getting to grow a dynamic and powerful team along the way—is incredibly thrilling. I can’t wait to see all we accomplish in 2018”.

Features Of Thought Industries' Learning Business Platform

A critical component of Thought Industries’ growth was also reflected in the growth of the product. Thought Industries released over 160 new features and product enhancements to the platform in 2017.

These new features included:

  • Panorama: Powerful licensing and multi-tenant capability that enables organizations to deliver highly customized learning portals to clients and groups from one central domain.
  • Reporting Enhancements: Rolled out of a new data warehouse with a powerful reporting layer. This supports customizable dashboards, ad-hoc reporting capabilities, scheduled reports, and more for the most accurate and up-to-date information and insights.
  • Salesforce Integration: The robust integration offers a seamless connection that enables user provisioning, learner engagement tracking, and much more.
  • Virtual Training: Deep integrations with virtual training platforms, such as GoToWebinar, GoToTraining, and Adobe Connect, enable users to seamlessly manage and incorporate virtual training as part of their learning offerings.
  • Microlearning: Author microlearning experiences as part of the browser-based authoring tools set.

To extend the product line in 2018, the company plans to release a new product in the Customer Learning and Software training category aimed at helping organizations improve product trials, onboard customers, and increase engagement.
