A practical way to reuse old materials when building new courses

What do you like best?
I like that I can take materials I've already prepared and turn them into something more useful instead of starting from zero every time. For example, I might have an old presentation, a few examples from previous lessons and some ideas for exercises. With Articulate 360, I can bring those pieces together and build a proper learning experience. Rise is especially convenient when I need to organize content into short lessons without spending hours on design.
What do you dislike?
I wouldn't use it as my main place to store random notes, articles or links. It's much better for working with materials once I already know what I want to create. Also, switching between different tools in the suite takes some getting used to.

What do you like best?
I usually start simple, but then comes the classic "can we make this part interactive?" 😅 That's where Storyline saves me. I can build scenarios, little interactions and quizzes without turning the whole thing into a coding project. There's definitely a learning curve, but once triggers and layers finally click in your head, you can do a LOT with them. I especially like having enough freedom to make two courses feel completely different instead of recycling the same template every time.
What do you dislike?
Storyline can absolutely eat your time if you let it. Something that sounds like a tiny interaction can suddenly become an hour of adjusting triggers and checking why one object isn't behaving. Bigger projects can also get a bit heavy.
It is a good tool, easy to use and its hotline is very responsive.

What do you like best?
Articulate Storyline is friendly and well designed. The interface is easy to understand and to take in hand.
What do you dislike?
The new pricing policy: there is no other choice than buying a license with AI even though I don't want it! I can turn off AI but I will be charge for it anyway. It is completely abnormal that users like me who consider that AI damages environment, human intelligence and jobs should pay for its development! Their pricing policy does not show Articulate as a company with an environmental and social commitment and sustainable practices. It is a pitty in our world that needs it!
Powerful tool for creating courses but takes time to learn

What do you like best?
Very strong for building structured eLearning content. You can create interactive lessons, quizzes and presentations without coding. Templates and assets help speed up development, and the final result looks professional. It’s widely used, so it’s easy to find tutorials and support.
What do you dislike?
At the beginning it can feel overwhelming. There are many features and settings, and you need time to get comfortable. Also it’s not the cheapest option, especially for small teams.
Even in these dark AI times, Articulate 360 still delivers value.

What do you like best?
Articulate 360 is a solid choice if you create eLearning regularly. What I like most is having Rise 360 for quick, polished courses and Storyline 360 when I need more creative control and interactivity.
What do you dislike?
Articulate 360 makes the course development process faster without sacrificing too much flexibility. It's not perfect, but it's a tool I'd happily recommend to other instructional designers and L&D teams.
Known Articulate since 2003. Greatest tool for creating content.

Ease of use of the software, interactivity possibilities in content creation process, great support from Articulate,
What do you dislike?
Hosting on US cloud instead of European is a pain due to GDPR compliance which is required for most European companies
I love Articulate 360, especially Storyline 360!!!

What do you like best?
I use Storyline 360 everyday, and I like that it is very user friendly. There are basically four components to the program-slides, states, layers and triggers and once you master those, you can really create anything! There is also an incredible online community at eLearning Heroes, and support and training is phenomenal.
What do you dislike?
It took me a while to learn the program. I took Basic and Advanced Storyline training with Yukon Learning, and I highly recommend it.

What do you like best?
There is so much I like about this software. Storyline helps you create any content you want, while Rise has great templates. Thanks to the content library, I've stopped searching the web for images.
What do you dislike?
I don’t think I would change something, but I would like it if Rise was as flexible in formatting as Storyline.
A good software that can be improved in many ways.

What do you like best?
Articulate 360 offers a wide variety of tools and Rise is working great for creating web based training courses. Easy tool that works great on any device.
What do you dislike?
From my experience the last few years with Articulate 360, I can say that the customer service is not good. It takes so long to address issues! It would be good if they tried harder to fix bugs and add new features.

What do you like best?
The similarities with PowerPoint have really helped us understand how the system works. Articulate has made it so easy to create interactive slides for eLearning courses.
What do you dislike?
At times, I’ve had issues with saving my files and some IT problems. However, the community has helped me resolve most of my issues.
