An efficient system overall, but persistent email issues still remain a challenge

What do you like best? The platform does a great job of improving efficiency in the hiring process. The platform streamlines communication between recruiters and candidates, making it easier to stay organized. Automated tracking keeps the team aware of where each applicant is in the pipeline without having to dig through spreadsheets or emails. This automation not only saves time but also reduces the risk of overlooking candidates.
What do you dislike? The main drawback has been with email functionality. Users have run into errors and, in some cases, repeated messages being sent out. These glitches create confusion for both candidates and recruiters and interrupt the otherwise smooth hiring process. While the system is efficient overall, improving the reliability of email communication would strengthen the platform and make it more dependable for recruitment teams that rely heavily on clear, consistent outreach.

What do you like best? Freshteam gave me my first real experience with talent recruitment software, and I found it helpful in understanding how modern hiring platforms work. The system brought together job postings, candidate tracking, and communication in a way that made the process more structured compared to handling everything manually. Being able to keep resumes, candidate notes, and status updates in one place reduced the amount of back and forth between emails and spreadsheets.
What do you dislike? The biggest drawback came when I tried to cancel the service. Freshteam requires 60 days’ notice to cancel an account, and there are no exceptions to that rule. I wasn’t aware of this policy ahead of time, and the lack of clear notification caused problems. Even after we had stopped using the program and chose not to renew, the account was automatically renewed, and payment was processed without an option for a refund. That left me feeling stuck with fees for a service I no longer needed.

Easy recruitment hub that makes hiring smoother, although there are some limits

What do you like best? Freshteam has been a strong fit for our recruitment needs because of its simple and intuitive design. The platform required very little training, which made onboarding our team quick and painless. We were able to start posting jobs and managing candidates almost immediately after setup, and it quickly became our daily hub for hiring. The interface makes it easy for recruiters and hiring managers to collaborate without confusion, and the workflows keep the process organized.
What do you dislike? Where Freshteam could improve is in customization and integrations. Adapting workflows to fit different departments or role types is more limited than we’d like, and connections to other tools, such as calendars or HR systems, can feel clunky. Reporting and automation features are also fairly basic, which restricts more advanced users. For small to mid-sized teams, it’s a solid solution, but scaling into more complex recruitment processes may require features Freshteam doesn’t yet offer.

Good customer support experience, though the integrations side has plenty of room for improvement

What do you like best? Freshteam is a reliable tool that we use often in our day-to-day hiring process. The implementation was straightforward, and we were able to start using the system without much difficulty. Its design makes it approachable for recruiters and managers alike, and most functions are easy to understand after just a short amount of use. I also appreciate the consistency of the platform. It works as expected and doesn’t overcomplicate tasks. Customer support is another strong point.
What do you dislike? At the same time, some important features feel missing, especially for organizations with more complex recruitment needs. Integrations with outside tools are an area that requires improvement. While it connects with some systems, the integrations can be limited or require extra steps to function properly. Expanding these options would make Freshteam more flexible and better suited for teams that rely on multiple platforms to manage their full HR process.

A simple and easy-to-use design, but the candidate management tools definitely need improvement

What do you like best? One thing that stands out about Freshteam is how quickly new users can get comfortable with the system. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes navigation simple even for people who don’t use HR software often. The layout feels logical, so posting jobs, checking resumes, or moving applicants through the pipeline doesn’t require much training. This ease of use has been especially helpful when bringing new team members into the hiring process.
What do you dislike? On the other hand, the candidate management side could be improved. Unassigning or reassigning candidates isn’t as smooth as it should be, which slows down workflows when adjustments are needed. The mobile app also leaves room for improvement, as performance issues occasionally make it less reliable in fast-paced situations. For teams that want to handle candidate tracking and communication on the go, these gaps can be frustrating.
