Jobvite is ideal for basic needs and it does pretty well in that aspect.

What do you like best? You can do the core stuff with Jobvite like tracking applicants, scheduling interviews, and moving candidates through the pipeline. Those parts work fine, and for day-to-day recruiting tasks, you’ll get what you need without too much trouble. It does the essentials fairly well
What do you dislike? Like I said, the platform covers the basics but some key things just aren’t there. Reporting is average at best, dashboards aren’t flexible, and the email campaign tools feel outdated. For anything beyond the basics, you’ll likely need another software, which adds more hassle than it should for a recruiting platform.

Great product that is backed up by a great support team

What do you like best? Jobvite’s support is rapid and reliable. Tickets typically get a response within an hour and resolve within the day. The system is robust and, with a bit of time, new clients can quickly adapt. It also integrates well with other platforms, reducing duplicate work
What do you dislike? Jobvite often glitches, especially mid-day, and email campaigns are clunky with limited, basic templates. Compared to tools like Mailchimp, creating emails feels outdated and risky as there’s no autosave, so I’ve lost entire drafts. Support responds quickly, but they can’t compensate for these inherent product issues

A Smooth hiring experience, but kinda feels outdated

What do you like best? I knew that Jobvite is praised for being super intuitive, but did not have the faintest idea it is backed by strong customer support. It even integrates with HR tools. That makes recruitment so much easier! The learning curve is short, and it helps teams save time while improving candidate engagement
What do you dislike? Jobvite handles the basics such as tracking applicants and posting jobs, and integration is helpful. But the feel is outdated. The interface isn’t intuitive, reporting is tedious, and customization feels like a chore. It gets the job done, but feels stuck years behind modern ATS tools.

Powerful ATS with deep recruiting tools with a tough learning curve for new users

Mar 18, 2025

Overall Rating 89%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? Jobvite provides an end-to-end recruiting platform that helps with job posting and offers integrated grading and assessment tools. The integration with social media and job boards makes it easy to cast a wide net and attract a diverse field of candidates. Interview scheduling and candidate tracking both function seamlessly, and hiring team partners can easily view and comment on candidates.
What do you dislike? On the other hand, this interface is a bit intimidating for new users, and it can take you a while to discover (and master) more complex features. Custom reports require additional effort or technical skills, making reporting less  intuitive. And on busy days, the system can lag or become slow, slowing down your work and wasting time. The feature set will be too rich for small companies or organizations with less demanding hiring practices.

Jobvite simplifies HR tasks, but it can also be confusing

What do you like best? Jobvite simplifies everything: campaign creation, application submission and even onboarding! Mobile submissions are definitely a highlight, and managers can easily view and share candidate materials. The whole process feels modern and responsive compared to older systems.
What do you dislike? While the platform centralizes candidate communications well, it can sometimes be confusing and not so easy to navigate. The experience can be frustrating rather than seamless. Even routine tasks take extra steps, which slows recruiters down and makes adoption harder for new users.

Trustworthy ATS For Growing Companies But System Lags During Peak Times

Nov 27, 2024

Overall Rating 84%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? Jobvite grows with the company as hiring needs get bigger, it's good for fast growing companies. The solution enables collaboration among recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers with shared feedback and real-time visibility into the progress of a candidate. We also appreciate the analytics which allow us to monitor time-to-hire and see where the bottlenecks in our process are. And in general, it imposes structure and accountability into recruiting.
What do you dislike? User training is time-consuming and the platform may seem clunky for smaller teams with more straightforward hiring requirements. Users could initially feel a bit overwhelmed by the amount of features included.

It covers the basic needs, but customization is not as smooth.

What do you like best? I like that Jobvite gives you some room to tweak things and set up workflows that match how your team hires. It makes the basics easier to manage and keeps everyone on the same page. For simple needs, the customization works well enough and helps you get by without feeling too restricted.
What do you dislike? The problem is when you want to go beyond the basics. Customization feels pretty limited, and even small changes can take way more effort than they should. It doesn’t really bend to fit your process, so you end up working around the tool instead of the other way around

Tech Savvy Platform With Structure And Speed But Initial Setup Is Overwhelming

Oct 26, 2024

Overall Rating 81%

What do you like best? Jobvite is a great tool for tracking the end to end recruiting process starting from posting open jobs all the way till an offer is made. The automation tools free up a lot of our recruiter's time (especially by automating interview scheduling and candidate updates). It easily integrates with LinkedIn, email and calendars, keeping everything all in one place.
What do you dislike? The initial setup can feel overwhelming, particularly for teams that are newer to applicant tracking systems. Some features are not immediately intuitive and require additional training or support documentation to fully understand.

Robust Automation Streamlines Tasks But Reporting Dashboards Feel Rigid

Sep 19, 2024

Overall Rating 84%

  • Usability
  • Customer Experience

What do you like best? Jobvite provides strong automation capabilities that help streamline repetitive recruiting tasks. We especially appreciate the workflows for candidate communication and interview scheduling, which reduce back-and-forth emails. The platform handles high-volume hiring well and keeps candidate data organized and easy to access.
What do you dislike? Customization options exist, but they are not always easy to implement without admin-level knowledge. Some reporting dashboards feel rigid and could benefit from more flexible filters. The user interface, while functional, could be modernized to improve navigation and reduce the learning curve for new users on the hiring team.

Strong Integration And Social Recruiting But Customization Is Limited

Sep 15, 2024

Overall Rating 81%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? Jobvite differentiates itself by emphasizing social recruiting and integration. Job posts are easy to share across multiple channels, broadening reach and candidate diversity. The automation of numerous manual tasks, such as posting and scheduling, greatly reduces the workload of low-end recruiters.
What do you dislike? However, when hiring needs become complicated, for example, requiring highly customized workflows, non-standard application formats, or multilingual support, Jobvite's limitations become apparent. Customization beyond basic templates can be complex and may require back-end support or additional costs. Reporting and analytics tools are somewhat rigid and don’t always offer the depth needed for strategic talent-acquisition planning.

Ideal for big teams and structured Hiring, but smaller companies may be disappointed by the price

Jul 2, 2024

Overall Rating 86%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? For medium to large-sized companies with frequent recruiting needs for multiple positions, Jobvite is a reliable solution. Its automation through workflow and candidate sourcing, parsing, and interview scheduling all serve to reduce redundancy and keep you on track for a steady stream of hiring. The pipelines run smoothly once set up correctly, and teams can depend on them to keep track of candidates, even across departments, requisitions, and sometimes geography.
What do you dislike? The cost of the subscription and implementation is more expensive than that of basic ATS systems. At the same time, some of the advanced functionality may be underutilized by businesses that don’t hire at a high volume. The long learning curve and extended setup time, especially if you have someone managing custom workflows, mean you require a dedicated resource or specialist to manage them.

Complete Recruiting Solution With Integrations But Interface Feels Cluttered

May 25, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? One of Jobvite’s major benefits is its extensive list of integrations with job boards, email systems and HR systems. It makes it easier to keep everything flowing on the recruiting ecosystem, without having to perform manual data transfer. The reporting tools offer actionable insights to enable data-driven hiring choices.
What do you dislike? While feature-rich, the interface can feel cluttered, especially for users who only need basic functionality. Some actions require multiple clicks, which slows down workflows. Occasional updates change layouts or features without sufficient advance notice, requiring teams to adjust their processes unexpectedly.

Broad and efficient candidate sourcing, but reporting and customization can be a drag

May 22, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? Jobvite’s key strength is its ability to integrate. It integrates with job boards, networking sites, and referral systems, allowing recruiters to approach candidates across multiple channels without requiring extra effort. We are no longer juggling spreadsheets and email threads. Scheduling interviews, tracking your candidates’ status, and collaborating with your team are all features contained within the tool, making planning much easier and more transparent during a hiring sprint.
What do you dislike? The primary drawback of Jobvite is its limited customization options beyond what’s included, and it lacks comprehensive reporting. The out-of-the-box reports are hardly ever adequate for ready access to deeper insights, and report building from the ground up sometimes needs that little bit of help from experts. For companies that want a deep level of analytical insight from their recruitment data, this feels like a missing piece.

Reliable core hiring features that speed up recruitment, yet occasional bugs and interface clutters

May 11, 2023

Overall Rating 88%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? In practice, Jobvite does make regular recruitment cycles smoother. Posting jobs, managing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates can all be handled from a single interface. Teams working across departments appreciate that candidate information and recruiter notes stay centralized, which reduces coordination overhead.
What do you dislike? Some users report that the system occasionally becomes sluggish or unresponsive, particularly when handling large volumes of candidates. The UI appears outdated compared to newer ATS platforms, making navigation cumbersome and less intuitive. For recruiters who frequently switch between requisitions, this can disrupt workflow and slow down the hiring pace. For users who don’t use the platform daily, the initial learning phase can feel steep.
