What do you like best?
It stands out for its clarity and ease of use. The platform feels approachable right from the first login. Everything from performance reviews and assessments to learning modules is clearly laid out, which makes it easy for employees to get comfortable using it. It doesn’t take a tech expert to make the most of its features; even new users can navigate reviews, track goals, or access learning content without guidance. This simplicity has made a big difference in our company’s workflow.
What do you dislike?
The only thing I’d like to see improved is broader app integration. While Leapsome connects well with the basics, expanding compatibility with more third-party tools would make it even more powerful. This would allow companies to fully centralize their workflows and take advantage of all the platform’s potential in one place. Even so, Leapsome’s simplicity and accessibility make it a strong choice for organizations that value seamless collaboration and user-friendly performance management.
Employee Centric Interface And Analytics But Mobile Version Is Limited And Slow

What do you like best?
Out of all the HR Teams' systems we tried, Leapsome definitely rose to the top with its neat interface and employee experience-centric approach. All can easily share feedback, recognition, and peer reviews, not just managers, at a moment's notice. Using survey heat-map analytics, we were able to identify several engagement drivers that we had previously been unaware of and take action on them.
What do you dislike?
Although the desktop experience is polished, the mobile version is limited compared to the web. Some staff who preferred mobile access reported missing functionality or slower responsiveness. Additionally, although the integration list is decent, in one case, our team wished for stronger out-of-the-box connectors (for example, custom dynamic goal updates via API) so that we could further reduce manual administration.

What do you like best?
The design makes it incredibly easy for anyone (regardless of their technical background) to get started and feel confident using it. Requesting and giving feedback only takes a few clicks, which keeps communication flowing smoothly. I also like how well the software performs across different operating systems and browsers. The email notification system works perfectly, helping teams stay on top of reviews and feedback requests without missing important updates.
What do you dislike?
I feel that the feedback and performance review structure could use a bit more depth, especially for companies that conduct multiple evaluations throughout the year. I’d also love to see a social-style feature added; maybe a space where team members could post updates, share achievements, or hold informal discussions.

What do you like best?
Leapsome has made our quarterly review process significantly easier, enabling us to create our own bespoke review cycles, connect goals to outcomes, monitor skill frameworks, and automatically trigger notifications to the appropriate participants. The visualization of goals and understanding how individual contributions link up with team and company objectives was another great benefit in getting everyone aligned in the same direction.
What do you dislike?
We encountered issues when integrating with our existing HRIS and collaboration tools—the documentation could be more precise, and our IT team spent considerable time bridging some gaps. Smaller teams or less mature organisations may feel that the learning curve is steeper than expected, as the system offers a multitude of modules at once, which can be overwhelming until they are tailored down to their specific needs.

What do you like best?
With Leapsome, we finally had our performance management, ongoing feedback, and engagement surveys in one tool, not three. This was a massive win for us; consolidating those entities helped reduce administrative overhead and employee confusion.
What do you dislike?
We were required to meticulously map an organizational structure, define well-defined templates, and train managers to use the system, resulting in longer implementation timelines. What this means, particularly for smaller organisations with comparatively fewer HR resources, is that a lighter solution may initially seem more uncomplicated and straightforward.

What do you like best?
Leapsome is now at the heart of our HR tech stack for alignment, development, and culture. We love how it incorporates goals, feedback, learning, and engagement; rather than being siloed, we were able to transition from annual check-ins to continuous performance conversations. Leadership has gained valuable insights from the analytics dashboards, which previously resided in spreadsheets.
What do you dislike?
The functionality is excellent, but it's at a higher price point than some simpler tools, so this may be a blocker for startups or small teams. Also, the abundance of features means that administrators must deliberately choose which modules to activate and which to configure, to avoid overwhelming end users.
Robust All In One Platform Elevates Feedback But Setup Is Time Consuming

What do you like best?
Leapsome helped us consolidate various tools, such as goal-setting, review cycles, and learning, into one, which was precisely what we needed. And, of course, the user interface is straightforward to navigate, even for those outside of HR, allowing us to onboard quickly across the entire organization.
What do you dislike?
However, the array of features also meant that we spent longer than expected getting it set up. The number of settings and processes was initially overwhelming and required dedicated administrative effort to refine everything for our structure. We also found that some edge cases in the learning module were a little unpolished (for example, the content scheduled didn’t always match expectations).
It’s rare to find a tool that balances simplicity and functionality, but Leapsome manages to do it

What do you like best?
Leapsome has quickly become a cornerstone of our company’s performance management process. It brings structure, clarity, and transparency to how feedback is shared and how progress is tracked across teams. I love that the platform makes it easy for everyone (managers and employees) to provide thoughtful, structured input during reviews and 1:1 conversations. The user interface feels polished, which encourages participation and reduces the friction often associated with performance reviews.
What do you dislike?
There’s very little to criticize, though I think the goal-tracking module could benefit from enhanced visual dashboards and slightly more customization options. Sometimes the notification settings feel a bit heavy-handed, sending out more alerts than necessary, which can clutter inboxes. It would be great to have more control over which updates trigger notifications.
This platform is a gem for employee engagement!!!!

What do you like best?
Leapsome has completely transformed how we approach employee engagement. The platform combines flexibility, depth, and ease of use in a way that few others do. Engagement surveys are simple to deploy and provide valuable insights into team morale, allowing managers to address issues early. The analytics dashboard ties everything together beautifully, offering a real-time view of performance trends, sentiment, and growth opportunities.
What do you dislike?
The platform is extremely powerful, but that same flexibility can feel a bit overwhelming for first-time users. There’s a lot to configure initially, from workflows to permissions, and getting everything fine-tuned to fit your company structure takes some time. A more guided onboarding or simplified default templates for smaller teams would help ease the setup phase.
I recommend Leapsome to anyone who wants a solution for performance management.

What do you like best?
My experience with Leapsome has been great overall. We've been using it to create strategic alignments and improve our performance. Google Sheets confused things more instead of helping our processes. I'm glad that we now have Leapsome to manage all of our goal setting and tracking. All processes are now more transparent and are in alignment with our mission.
What do you dislike?
A few months back, I had open communication with the Leapsome team, asking them to add a new feature. They were very responsive and eager to add it to their roadmap.
