An Excellent Platform for Centralized Communication and Seamless Team Collaboration

Oct 11, 2025

Overall Rating 77%

What do you like best? LumApps is a fantastic internal communication tool that makes it easy to bring company information together in one place. Its integration with systems like Google Workspace is seamless, which makes file sharing and collaboration effortless. I especially love how flexible the platform is when it comes to personalization. You can create custom widgets that add a lot of value for tailoring pages to specific teams or departments.
What do you dislike? While LumApps offers excellent functionality overall, I wish the broadcast feature had more customization options. Currently, it works well for sending updates, but adding more flexibility, such as branded templates, scheduling options, and richer formatting, would make it even better. Some layout restrictions also limit how creative you can get with internal content presentation. Despite these small drawbacks, LumApps continues to deliver exceptional value.

A Complete and User-Friendly Employee Hub for Seamless HR, Communication, and Daily Workflows

Sep 25, 2025

Overall Rating 81%

  • Usability

  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? LumApps has become an essential part of how we connect and communicate across departments. It truly functions as a complete “employee hub,” bringing together everything a distributed workforce needs (news, updates, documents, and collaboration tools) in one central place. The interface is modern and easy to navigate, making it simple for contributors to share updates, publish content, and interact with colleagues.
What do you dislike? The only drawback I’ve found is the limited flexibility when it comes to layout customization. While the platform looks polished, more tips or built-in options for using HTML workarounds would be useful for contributors who want to personalize their pages. Still, that’s a small issue compared to the overall impact LumApps has made.

Intuitive Platform That Simplifies Content Sharing

What do you like best? After using LumApps for nearly a year, I’ve come to really appreciate how effortless it is to publish and manage content. The navigation feels natural and easy to learn, so even new users can get comfortable quickly. I use it daily in multiple roles as an admin, content creator, and end user, and it performs consistently well across all three. The search feature is accurate and fast, and the metadata tools make sorting and finding information simple.
What do you dislike? The biggest challenge I’ve noticed is response time when dealing with technical support. Since much of the team is based in France, time zone differences can make it harder to get quick help when an issue arises. Additionally, because LumApps is still evolving, some of the advanced use cases we’ve tried to implement took longer than expected or required extra back-and-forth.

A Reliable Digital Workplace Platform With Excellent Support and Seamless Collaboration Tools

Jun 16, 2025

Overall Rating 78%

What do you like best? LumApps has proven to be an outstanding digital workplace solution that brings social connectivity and collaboration together in one elegant platform. What impressed me most was the level of partnership from their team; they were involved from the early planning stages through launch and continue to provide exceptional support even after implementation.
What do you dislike? While the platform performs well overall, the back-office tools could use a bit of refinement. Organizing and filtering content as an administrator can feel cumbersome, especially for companies managing a large amount of data. The analytics features are also quite basic, and the mobile app doesn’t yet match the smoothness of the web version, which limits flexibility for remote users.

Beautifully Designed and Highly Customizable Platform

What do you like best? LumApps has been a refreshing upgrade to our company intranet. The design flexibility makes it stand out; every page feels like it can be uniquely crafted to fit our brand identity perfectly. The interface is visually appealing and easy to navigate, which has helped modernize our internal communications.
What do you dislike? One area that could be improved is survey functionality. Currently, while creating and deploying surveys is straightforward, retrieving and reviewing the responses isn’t as seamless as it could be. Having a built-in, easy-to-access reporting dashboard for survey results would make it more useful for gathering internal feedback. Apart from that, LumApps has been an outstanding experience so far.

Very Customizable And Useful For Internal Messaging But Admin Tools Are Difficult To Filter

Oct 5, 2024

Overall Rating 83%

What do you like best? I enjoy using LumApps because of how well it integrates internal communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. It allows our organization to publish announcements across departments and ensure everyone stays up-to-date. The custom content tools are flexible, letting us craft pages that align with our work style.
What do you dislike? The back-end administration tools can be difficult to organize and filter, which slows down content management when many pages and updates accumulate. Analytics provide basic insight but fall short of more advanced reporting tools, making it hard to measure deeper engagement or trends without extra effort.

Helps Organize Information For Hybrid Workforce Effectively But Initial Configuration Takes Time

Sep 26, 2024

What do you like best? LumApps has helped our hybrid team stay connected and better informed about company priorities. The smart search and content discovery features allow me to find relevant information quickly without digging through emails. Being able to post video announcements and targeted messages means teams get important updates in the right context.
What do you dislike? I do wish some parts of the setup felt simpler because initial configuration can take time. Elements like permissions and layout controls feel slightly overwhelming at first, especially if you want to publish content across multiple languages or regions. While the platform scales well, these early choices can feel complex without step-by-step support.

Centralized Hub Keeps Team Aligned But Setup And Page Loads Can Be Sluggish

Sep 26, 2024

Overall Rating 83%

What do you like best? LumApps consolidates all our internal communication, documents, and updates in one place, and we don’t have to track people down through email or different chat threads. Only content that pertains to me is displayed on the personalized home page, which reduces noise and helps keep me focused.
What do you dislike? Setting up the platform was more work than we had realized. The customizability was incredible, but a little tricky to set up (especially page types/widgets/permissions). At times, the page load seemed sluggish, especially when switching between sections or when a high concentration of users tried to access the system simultaneously.

Good For Enterprise Communication With Solid Features But Mobile Responsiveness Needs Improvement

Sep 19, 2024

Overall Rating 83%

What do you like best? LumApps works well for large organizations that need a centralized source of truth. It helps make company goals, news, and resources easy to find in one place instead of scattered across tools. The interface feels modern and tidy, and social features like commenting and discussion boards help people feel heard and connected.
What do you dislike? Some improvements could be made in mobile responsiveness because certain pages and menus feel cramped or slow on smaller screens. Integration with other business tools is strong, but improving the depth of those links would provide even smoother workflows for those who live on third-party apps.

Single Source Of Truth For Teams But Page Builder Is Sluggish And Difficult

Jul 9, 2024

Overall Rating 79%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? Using LumApps, our entire team now has a single source of truth: corporate news, HR-related content and workflows, policies, and departmental news, all combined in one place. Search is effective, enabling people across teams and countries to locate relevant information quickly. As an end-user, the interface is clean and intuitive.
What do you dislike? As an admin, publishing content sometimes got in my way. Some of this happened because the page builder was extremely sluggish and memory-intensive when it came to content updates. It was difficult to post images, not to mention making them responsive, which seemed to have minimal potential for layout support. This has been a frustration point for teams making straightforward, commonplace updates.

Connects Remote Teams And Improves Internal Communication But Platform Feels Slow At Times

May 18, 2024

What do you like best? LumApps has been a helpful platform for keeping our distributed team in sync. It brings news, updates, important documents, and team discussions into a single space so I no longer waste time searching through emails and chats.
What do you dislike? There are times when the platform feels slower than expected on both desktop and mobile. Some features are buried under multiple menus, which can make simple tasks take longer than needed. While the personalization is helpful, I would like more direct guidance on how to customize my homepage and widgets more easily.

Efficient Internal Communications But Mobile Experience And Analytics Are Weak

May 18, 2024

Overall Rating 82%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience

What do you like best? Using LumApps has made distributing company announcements and resources efficient and straightforward. For distributing newsletters, sharing policies, or centralizing directories, it has replaced a mix of emails and scattered file shares. Employees rarely get lost trying to find important documents, thanks to the organized content structure and decent search functionality.
What do you dislike? The limitations become most clear when you’re trying to communicate with your frontline, non-desk employees, especially on their mobile devices. The mobile version lacks many of the features available on desktop, which limits accessibility for staff who rely on phones.

Strong Integration With Tools We Already Use Daily But Advanced Layout Controls Are Limited

Mar 2, 2024

Overall Rating 83%

What do you like best? One of the reasons we adopted LumApps was its integration with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Connecting the intranet with tools we use daily makes our workflow feel more seamless. It helps reduce context switching between apps and keeps key content accessible.
What do you dislike? True personalization at scale is still developing, and I find that deeper enterprise-grade governance about who can access or manage specific content could be clearer. Some interface elements could be more intuitive to reduce reliance on training or external support when setting up complex pages.

Social Features Boost Engagement But Analytics And Widgets Are Limited

Mar 2, 2024

Overall Rating 84%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? LumApps is effective at making employees feel more connected. The social features, such as commenting, sharing, and liking posts, can make internal communication seem less formal and more community-oriented. It is simple to create departmental or thematic communities, so employees scattered throughout the country still feel connected.
What do you dislike? Even though it was flexible, it was also a pain to configure widgets or change layouts. A few of the widgets were almost too simplistic and didn’t allow us to present content with much visual flair. Another downside is the lack of strong analytics: we have no clear understanding of what content is being used or how people navigate the intranet, making it difficult to determine what can be done to drive engagement.

Single Digital Workplace For Large Orgs But Complex Pages Load Sluggishly

Feb 16, 2024

Overall Rating 83%

What do you like best? For a large organization with numerous departments and offices across the region, LumApps provides the all-important single digital workplace. It’s designed to integrate HR, marketing, and internal communications under one roof. The permissions model is flexible enough to accommodate various roles: contributors, viewers, and admins, which makes it easier to decentralize content management without compromising control.
What do you dislike? The flip side is that rolling out new features or heavy content pages often feels slow. Pages with complex layouts or many widgets sometimes loaded sluggishly, and editing them required patience and many clicks.
