What do you like best? Pendo has been a game-changer for our data collection and analysis process. Its features allow us to actively capture user behavior, keeping our internal knowledge base continuously updated. This real-time data flow has helped us identify meaningful patterns and apply insights directly to our marketing strategies, significantly boosting our reach and engagement.
What do you dislike? The platform is easy to navigate, and the analytics are presented clearly through intuitive dashboards with organized tables and graphs. Honestly, I haven't encountered any real challenges with Pendo. Linking insights across reports is seamless, and the overall experience of interpreting and applying the analytics has been straightforward and efficient.

What do you like best? I truly love using Pendo — it’s not only powerful but also fun to explore and full of hidden insights that keep adding value to our organization. Our product managers use it to monitor how users interact with features, while the design team leverages the funnel and pathing tools to study user flows and iterate quickly based on real behavior. Highly recommended!
What do you dislike? The learning curve with Pendo is steep. It’s a feature-rich platform, and it can take months to fully understand all its capabilities. The setup process can also be challenging: injecting the Pendo snippet into your codebase, configuring data attributes, properly tagging pages and features, and excluding test environments all require careful attention. Once it’s set up properly, the platform is incredibly powerful and delivers lasting value.

What do you like best? Pendo has proven to be a versatile and powerful tool for data analysis, suitable for businesses of all sizes. What do you dislike? While Pendo is a robust platform, it does come with a learning curve. Getting the most out of it takes time, and improper setup or tagging by users can result in inaccurate or incomplete data, which can throw off reporting. It requires consistency and attention to detail to ensure the insights you’re collecting are reliable.Despite the setup challenges, the long-term value and insights it provides are well worth the effort.

What do you like best? Pendo is our go-to tool for understanding user behavior and enhancing the in-app experience. One of its strongest features is its web analytics, which allow us to track page visits and gain visibility into user engagement. I also really appreciate the ability to build no-code informational pop-ups and tooltips — these are incredibly useful for guiding users without having to rely on development resources.
What do you dislike? While Pendo does a lot well, there are areas where it could be even more powerful. For instance, it would be great to have the ability to view session replays or track advanced behaviors like rage clicks to get a clearer picture of user frustration points. It would be a huge improvement if Pendo could offer some kind of auto-tagging feature or intelligent tracking that identifies key interactions without requiring so much setup.

What do you like best? Pendo has been a great asset for our team, helping us understand which features truly resonate with users and which ones need refinement. With NPS overviews, product analytics, and user behavior tracking, Pendo provides the kind of deep insight that allows us to prioritize engineering efforts based on what matters most to our customers. Additionally, the Pendo team has been great to work with — from onboarding to ongoing support, they’ve helped us unlock the platform’s full potential.
What do you dislike? The platform has played a direct role in how we shape our product development cycles, ultimately improving both adoption and user satisfaction. Some of the early friction we experienced came from application-side setup, such as needing more precise IDs and URLs to integrate smoothly with Pendo. There was also a bit of confusion around some guide settings and display options, but now everything is running smoothly.

What do you like best? Having worked in product management for over 25 years, I can confidently say that discovering Pendo has been a catalyst. The insights we’ve gained have significantly improved our understanding of user behavior, and I only wish I had found it years earlier. Pendo has proven to be a significant investment. We considered alternatives like WalkMe and Gainsight PX, but Pendo stood out with its better interface, ease of setup, and ability to deliver meaningful insights right out of the box.
What do you dislike? While Pendo works seamlessly for standard web apps, there can be challenges if your application doesn’t change URLs for each page visit. In such cases, tracking user behavior at scale may require some extra configuration and thoughtful planning. While it’s not a deal-breaker, it does require additional effort to set up properly.

What do you like best? Pendo is an excellent analytics platform that has been instrumental in helping us understand user behavior and patterns. Whenever we roll out a new feature, we rely on Pendo to tag elements, track user interactions, and analyze engagement data. This insight allows us to identify which paths users follow, what features are most frequently used, and where users are dropping off.
What do you dislike? While Pendo is a powerful tool, there are some areas that could improve. Occasionally, it struggles to tag certain functions, often due to how those features are coded. It would be helpful if they could provide clearer guidance or alternative solutions for resolving these tagging issues.Another challenge is with filtering dashboards.Plus, the external reporting setup was also a bit tricky.

What do you like best? Pendo has been an incredibly valuable platform. Excellent for improving user onboarding and product education. One of its best features is the ability to create interactive intuitive guides. We can walk users through the platform step-by-step. These guides are easy to build and have played a key role in increasing user adoption, reducing churn, and driving “no touch” sales by helping users self-serve without needing direct support. The built-in NPS functionality is another great feature.
What do you dislike? While Pendo offers strong analytics capabilities, it can be tricky to navigate guide-specific analytics. Tracking how guides are performing could be more intuitive, especially when troubleshooting drop-off points. Also, when new features are released, existing guides can break or become outdated, which impacts the accuracy of the data. Keeping guides updated during product changes requires a bit more manual oversight.

What do you like best? Pendo is an exceptionally effective tool for understanding user behavior throughout the customer journey. I get insights right from the moment a user first engages with our product. The analytics interface is very intuitive, allowing me to pull usage metrics within minutes. One of the biggest benefits is the ability to track customer interactions and feature engagement. That way I can validate product changes, investigate support tickets, and better understand where users spend their time.
What do you dislike? While Pendo has robust segmentation tools, it currently lacks the ability to upload CSV files for custom field IDs beyond visitor or account ID, which limits flexibility for certain use cases.Additionally, some of the default dashboard widgets could benefit from a design refresh and expanded functionality. The integration with Salesforce and other systems adds another layer of value, enabling us to enrich customer insights across platforms.

What do you like best? Within just a few months of implementation, we’ve gained valuable insights into our users' behavior that we previously lacked. This has sparked new ideas, raised important questions, and created fresh opportunities for us to grow and improve. What sets Pendo apart is its unique ability to be both robust and easy to use — a rare combination in software solutions. The platform provides powerful behavioral analytics while also enabling us to launch in-app guidance with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike? As a multi-app/single-platform company, some of Pendo’s features that are designed for single-app environments didn’t work for us right out of the box. However, I can’t say enough good things about Pendo’s support team and pro-services team — they’ve gone above and beyond to provide custom solutions that meet our unique needs every time. Their dedication has made the experience much smoother.
