What do you like best? Smartcare has been valuable for making everyday operations more efficient. Tasks like tracking attendance, handling billing, and managing payments are much simpler with everything built into one system. For childcare staff, this cuts down on manual work and reduces the chances of errors, which ultimately helps the center run more smoothly. Parents also benefit from the convenience of accurate billing and quick updates.
What do you dislike? One drawback is that not all advanced features are automatically available to every user. Functions like digital lunch menus or storing contracts often depend on the specific subscription level the center has purchased. That means some tools you might expect aren’t always part of the standard package. It can be frustrating to realize you need to upgrade to access features that feel essential.

A good platform if you want to regularly use it for keeping parents updated

What do you like best? Smartcare brought together several useful features that made preschool management more convenient. I found it easy to navigate the system when pulling reports, which saved time on administrative work. Uploading photos and sending them directly to parents was also simple, creating a better connection between the classroom and families. The messaging tools allowed for clear communication, which parents appreciated.
What do you dislike? “While customer service was responsive, after using Smartcare for more than a year, the support we received didn’t always resolve the issues we faced. Billing in particular became a recurring problem, and we struggled to get effective solutions. This created frustration for both staff and parents. Ultimately, our organization decided to switch to Procare to handle these needs, though that system also has trade-offs.

A child care app designed with parents in mind, one they will genuinely love and appreciate

What do you like best? Smartcare is simple to use and has been incredibly helpful in keeping track of my child’s day at the center. I love how it keeps me informed with updates and makes it easier to stay connected with teachers. As a parent, it feels like an essential tool that brings peace of mind.
What do you dislike? Some parts of the system can be a little tricky to navigate, especially when you’re first getting used to it. Once you learn where everything is, it becomes much easier, but having a clearer layout would make the experience even better. Overall, it’s still a great product.

A highly valuable and very helpful tool for seamless check-in processes and ongoing customer support

What do you like best? Smartcare has been a useful solution for managing daily sign-ins and sign-outs at the childcare center. The process is quick and saves time for both staff and parents, creating a smoother start and end to the day. I also found their customer service team to be responsive whenever questions came up. Having someone available to explain the basics and walk through issues gave me confidence that we could keep things running without long delays.
What do you dislike? The biggest challenge we faced was the number of glitches within the system. At times it disrupted workflow and made things feel less reliable. Another concern was the lack of clarity around how to use all of Smartcare’s features. While the basics were covered, I never felt like we had enough guidance to take full advantage of everything available. Better training materials and a more stable system would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

Convenient billing system, but there’s still room for improvement and future growth

What do you like best? One of the things I appreciated most about Smartcare was the automatic billing feature. It made handling payments much easier and gave parents peace of mind that tuition was being processed on time. The ability to batch message parents was also helpful, especially when sending reminders or announcements.
What do you dislike? Where the system fell short was on the teacher side. The website wasn’t user-friendly, and without a dedicated teacher app, posting updates felt more difficult than it should be. There were also several technical problems, including crashes and glitches, which disrupted daily tasks.

Balanced Usability For Ongoing Learning Needs But Visual Branding Options Are Limited

Nov 26, 2024

What do you like best? Smartcare has helped our company by bridging the training gap across multiple departments, while creating a unified and accessible environment. Search is surprisingly competent, which means learners can easily find what they need in an extensive content library. Uploading updates or new modules is effortless, and the platform rarely experiences interruptions.
What do you dislike? The options for visual branding are limited by today's standards, offering less flexibility than many teams may want. Everything works well, but the training environment could be more tailored to companies with established branding guidelines. Further broadening those options would go a long way toward establishing an even more distinct and recognizable experience.

Strong Reporting And Intuitive Tools For Training But Advanced Setup Takes Time

Oct 5, 2024

What do you like best? Smartcare is notable for its clean design and gradual learning curve. The barrier to creating new courses is low; it's ideally suited as a platform for structured content. The reporting functionality has been something we've found particularly valuable for monitoring compliance. Managers can pull their own, detailed summaries without outside assistance; the time saved each quarter is substantial.
What do you dislike? The platform they provide is user-friendly for the most part, but when it comes to initially configuring some of the more advanced features, that process takes a little time. Some customization is non-intuitive, and smaller teams will require additional time to set everything up correctly. Once established, the tools function well; however, guidance during the early configuration could be improved.

Seamless User Experience Increases Engagement But Social Learning Tools Are Limited

What do you like best? Our staff transitioned into it easily and quickly because everything, from navigation to enrollment, just feels clear and logical. Multimedia files are uploaded rapidly, with the platform handling large files efficiently.
What do you dislike? Some features that would enhance collaboration, such as built-in peer discussions, currently feel limited. While learners can complete tasks efficiently, the social learning aspect is not as strong as we hoped. Adding more interactive tools would make it easier for teams to share ideas and stay aligned during longer training cycles.

Reliable Platform With Strong Learner Management But Analytics Filters Are Limited

Aug 1, 2024

What do you like best? Smartcare has been a great tool in streamlining our learning processes. The course builder is smooth, and it provides us with just enough freedom without overwhelming our new administrators. Learners value that the content is clearly organized and find this most useful in longer modules.
What do you dislike? The analytics part is good, but the filter options could be more versatile. And sometimes, specific data points turn out to be more challenging to find than anticipated, particularly during an audit or when preparing a report for management. Better filtering or saved view options would benefit teams that regularly compile reports for various departments.

Dependable Performance That Simplifies Learning But Mobile Experience Is Inconsistent

Jul 28, 2024

Overall Rating 84%

What do you like best? Smartcare has made it significantly easier for our staff to manage training programs without relying on technical assistance all the time. The intuitive layout makes you feel at home, and most tutors can start building courses after the first day. The reporting choices provide enough detail to monitor participation and spot gaps before they become problems.
What do you dislike? Some users prefer more consistency in their mobile experience, regardless of the device. Some readers complain that a few pages load more slowly or require a bit more scrolling. The service is generally good across the board. Still, a more polished mobile interface would make everything feel more cohesive, especially for people who rely heavily on their phones or tablets.
