Accurate and Reliable Payroll Automation Software That Saves Valuable Time and Reduces Manual Errors

Oct 22, 2025

Overall Rating 76%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? UZIO has taken the stress out of payroll processing for our HR team. Its automation features handle everything from salary calculations to tax filings, drastically reducing the risk of human error. The system stays compliant with the latest payroll regulations, which gives us peace of mind during every pay cycle. What used to take hours of manual data entry and cross-checking now happens in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike? The biggest limitation is with the mobile app. While it’s useful for quick checks, it doesn’t include all the functionalities available on the desktop version. Tasks like detailed payroll reviews, adjustments, or tax report access are easier to perform on a computer. This makes mobile management a bit restrictive for HR professionals who need full access while traveling or working remotely.

Simple and Effective Payroll Solution for Nonprofits

Sep 21, 2025

Overall Rating 77%

What do you like best? UZIO has been a great fit for our nonprofit organization because it simplifies everyday HR and payroll tasks. The platform makes it incredibly easy to track time off, submit requests, and approve them without endless back-and-forth emails. Everything is centralized, which saves time and reduces confusion. The web interface feels clean and intuitive, even for staff who aren’t particularly tech-savvy.
What do you dislike? While the desktop experience is great, the mobile version could use significant improvement. It tends to lag and feels a bit clunky when trying to approve or view time-off requests on the go. Some buttons are not as responsive, which can make quick tasks frustrating.

All-in-One HR Platform That Truly Simplifies Benefits

Sep 10, 2025

Overall Rating 78%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? UZIO has been a major upgrade for managing both benefits and time tracking in one place. The platform makes benefits administration incredibly straightforward: enrolling employees, adding dependents, or updating coverage levels can all be done in just a few clicks. It has taken what used to be a confusing and paperwork-heavy process and turned it into something efficient and transparent.
What do you dislike? There really aren’t any major drawbacks worth noting. The platform runs reliably, the tools are intuitive, and support is responsive whenever questions come up. If anything, some users might wish for a few more customization options in reporting or layout preferences, but that’s more of a nice-to-have than a real issue

Efficient Onboarding With a Bit of a Learning Curve

Jun 18, 2025

Overall Rating 78%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience

What do you like best? UZIO makes onboarding new employees incredibly smooth and efficient. The ability for new hires to electronically complete and sign documents such as W-4s and I-9s before their first day saves a significant amount of time for both HR teams and employees. It eliminates the need for paper forms and reduces the back-and-forth that usually comes with new hire paperwork.
What do you dislike? Because UZIO is packed with features, it can initially feel overwhelming for new users. The interface is functional but has a lot going on, and first-time users may need some time to explore and understand where everything is. A short guided tutorial or in-app walkthrough for new admins would help flatten the learning curve.

Reliable Payroll Platform That Simplifies HR Data.

Apr 6, 2025

Overall Rating 75%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? UZIO stands out for its ability to bring everything HR-related under one roof. Having employee data, payroll, benefits, and time-off requests managed from a single platform has made a huge difference in keeping our processes organized. The centralized dashboard eliminates the hassle of maintaining multiple systems or spreadsheets and reduces the chance of data errors. Automated payroll calculations and built-in tax filing tools take the stress out of compliance and minimize mistakes.
What do you dislike? While UZIO covers all the essentials, its payroll customization options could be more advanced. Businesses with complex pay structures or unique compensation models might find it restrictive when trying to adapt the system to their specific needs. The lack of flexibility can make handling bonuses, commissions, or department-specific pay rules more time-consuming.

Comprehensive Platform Saves Manual Effort But Integrations Need Improvement

Oct 5, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? Centralized employee records and self-serve capabilities enable staff to view key files, reports, and more without needing to approach HR every time a request needs attention. The entire onboarding and offboarding processes are significantly improved compared to how they used to be. The clarity and structure of benefits options, including plan details and cost breakdowns, helped employees make informed choices with ease.
What do you dislike? Although the platform has many positives, it is lacking in several areas. Its customization options are somewhat limited; for example, the UI color scheme (a light background and pale fonts) can be challenging to read for some team members. The platform hasn't always seemed to integrate well with other third-party software, such as external insurance carriers or benefits providers, which has resulted in extra manual effort in some instances.

User Friendly Tool Simplifies Onboarding But Mobile Interface Is Less Efficient

Oct 5, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? The system is incredibly user-friendly and simple to use. From employee onboarding to setting up payroll and benefits enrollment, everything is very concise and easy to navigate. We love that we can manage HR, payroll, time tracking, and benefits all in one place; it saves us from the need for spreadsheets and multiple apps. The flow for time-off requests, downloading pay stubs, and choosing benefits works well.
What do you dislike? There are some areas where the platform could improve. Some of the more advanced features are limited in scope. We can't always customize things in a way that is really bothersome to us. For instance, switching between the admin and employee views could be improved; it can feel clunky at times. Moreover, the flow isn’t always as seamless when using the mobile interface compared to a desktop experience, which can make being on the go less efficient.

Well Rounded Solution For Small Businesses But Customization Is Limiting For Growth

May 25, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? Uzio offers a comprehensive package that includes HR, payroll, benefits, PTO management, onboarding, and employee self-service, all in one platform. This has really saved us time and removed confusion about multiple logins / or disjointed tools. Workers appreciate being able to check pay stubs, view benefits details, and request PTO all without the hassle of searching for information in multiple places.
What do you dislike? However, as our startup grew, we began to encounter obstacles. The platform isn’t the most customizable, which may be limiting for companies with more complicated HR workflows. There is no built-in performance review module, so we still need to use other methods for evaluations. Sometimes the interface feels a bit too basic for more developed requirements, and UI readability leaves something to be desired (particularly with light fonts against light backgrounds).

Great Value Solution For Small Companies But Lacks Performance Review Module

May 18, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? For small to mid-sized companies, Uzio offers a great return on investment with no compromise on core HR. This self-service portal enables employees to access documents, pay stubs, and other plan information independently, eliminating the need for extra administrative support. Combining all HR, payroll, and benefits tools into a single system has saved us a significant amount of time.
What do you dislike? That being said, there are limitations, mainly in terms of flexibility and advanced features. There is no built-in performance review module or strong employee evaluation feature to rely on, so these processes are still handled externally from the application. These problems can serve as a basis for scaling organizations that seek more customization or complex HR workflows.

Efficient Payroll And Benefits Management But Mobile Experience Is Weak

May 18, 2024

Overall Rating 83%
  • Usefulness
  • Usability
  • Customer Experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend
What do you like best? Uzio streamlines many of the day-to-day HR processes that previously consumed a significant amount of time. Everything, from processing payroll to taking a census of who’s enrolled in benefits, to tracking PTO and distributing pay stubs, all happens inside the same portal, which means less redundancy and fewer errors.
What do you dislike? On the downside, some features are still quite rudimentary and could do with improvement. The mobile experience isn’t as powerful as the desktop experience; forms can load somewhat slower, and navigation is not always straightforward, which can be frustrating for staff when they are tasked with remote or traveling work. Ultimately, the platform excels in performing many day-to-day HR tasks, although not at an advanced level.
