BranchTrack Webinar: Cognitive Taxonomy Twist

"The problem with traffic is that the people of today are driving the cars of tomorrow on the roads of yesterday."

These words of Bob Talbert, a Detroit Free Press columnist, cannot but confirm that everyone needs the auto insurance. He must have known something on this, all the more so he worked in the city of General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler.

Indeed, two great instructional designers from Auto-Owners Insurance, the 17th largest insurance company in the U.S. with over 6,200 locations across the country, will soon host a webinar "Cognitive Taxonomy Twist". In this webinar, Zoa Bonofiglio and Andrew Lockwood, will talk about new ways to engage learners in assessment and higher order thinking.

By using branching scenarios, they were able to engage their learners in higher levels of the Bloom Learning Taxonomy. Scenarios allowed them for a twist on the typical multiple-choice assessment allowing learners to engage their cognition from understanding to evaluating.
