ICEL 2015 brings together varied groups of people with different perspectives, experiences and knowledge in one location.
ICEL 2015 aims to help practitioners find ways of putting research into practice and researchers to gain an understanding of real-world problems, needs and aspirations.
In addition to the main conference topics, the advisory group invites suggestions to the following mini tracks:

- Assessing Instructor Effectiveness in the e-Learning Classroom chaired by Dr. Anita G. Welch, Emirates College for Advanced Education, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E
- Promoting Student-Centred Learning using Mobile Technology chaired by Ian Brown, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China
